Day 2 of suggesting you get a yard dog. I named mine "Cash" because just like money, he comes and goes as he pleases.
He doesn't do a very good job of keeping the deer out of the yard, but since I got him, Not a single piece of equipment has been stolen!
Cheap investment and a great companion! Plus, he's a tax write-off! "Security System"
(Also buy the 7R 350!!)
A couple of German Shepherds roaming the yard would certainly deter any unwanted guests..
Loved the mix of the guys contracting and you doing your own thing FSG.
Love the Straw Harvest mod. Makes the game feels fresh again.
It’s a great alternative to just selling masses of bales, a great bit of immersive gameplay

@@glenjones6980 I think we can safely blame the driver in this instance! 😝
FSG spoiler alert, you can bulk sell pellets at the sell point you placed. Not sure why they chose that approach. However, selling Bulk allows you to sell every pellet. With the Pallets, some residue pellets are always left behind (half filled pallets for example). So selling the pellets straight off the field, seems the best option.

Backing up trailers in this game is always an achievement. I don't know about you, but I find the ones with real-wheel steering to be especially challenging. Great in the fields, but not so much in the yard...

There's a crazy contractor on Calmsden at the moment doing two potato harvests in field 9 and 21, he's losing the will to live. Do not ask how I know this.

Forklift driving could do with a wee bit of improvement FSG but, at least you made up for it with your trailer reversing skills. 🤣
😂 Gonna blame the straw harvest pallets, they are awful, worse than the in game ones, I think they've put FS19 pallets in FS22... well that's my excuse and I'm sticking to it!

Hey fsg, I was thinking how profitable are pellets? U stuck in approx 60,000 litres of hay bales, for a 14.363litres in pellets?? How much would u be selling the bales to the amount ul make on the pellets??
That's my query, too. The FS19 version, taking into account all the extra work, wasn't worth it. Took me a long time to get it to pay for itself with the shredder and the pallet factory, let alone make money.
I think over the next few weeks we'll get the data to prove one way or another, lets see 👍

There isn’t a whole lot of difference in the price for bales verses pellets. Also palletising is pointless. You don’t get any extra. Obviously youtubers will disagree. Because of the immersion argument.
You even have the crane with bucket in the roof there

If you're devoting all your bales to the pellets as well as both of your grass fields pellets, how do you plan on feeding your cows?

I am not as over rhe moon with the pellet Palettetizer as everyone else is. From my point of view the money put in and the work from making bails to selling the pellets the end result to me its just not worth it.
You can sell the pellets Bulk for the same money as Palletized. However, selling Bulk allows you to sell every pellet. With the Pallets, some residue pellets are always left behind (half filled pallets for example)

7bales gave 14000liter? And 8 with straw. Down from 7+8 bales at example 8k liters each (56000+64000liter). Wonder if its even worth it?
If you use the straw harvest sell point it’s about double the price for the pellets as selling the bales

64000liter of straw equaks to 49$ (Max pr 1000 l) x 64 = 3136$
56000liter of straw = 62$ (Max pr 1000l) x 56 = 3472$
So max those 15 bales is worth 6608. Looking forward to see the end result on the bags
And thats assuming the bales ia 8k in each. I don't know how much they actually got

It does but you run out quick, so you’d need to set a refill course for Autodrive for it too
Don't know if the game got cats now. But if you getting a dog and game have cats i would gotten it. Helps keep the mice away.
