I love Aaron so much but I had this same thought. A great vocalist is only lifted up by such an amazing accompaniment. He is truly talented behind the keys. The beauty and dynamic changes really enhance the beauty of this cover.
Seriously like this song is so pretty and probably could be used as a genuinely romantic song but it is without any even possible doubt about a stalker so it almost ruins it. Almost being the key word.
I love The Tango de Roxanne. But if they ever wanted to replace that number in the show, this song would be a great one to replace it with. Kind of has the same vibe 😂
Just discovered Aaron Tveit recently. He and his voice is wonderful. Have also been a big fan of Jeremy Jneordan But this guy is different. I found out so much more about Aaron and what he has done. He has doe a lot more than Jeremy Jordan. They are both great but I will take Aaron any day.
@@kennylayne88 but then he was back in it from like Sept 2021 til May 2022. The show is still running in NYC, for those interested. Derek Klena plays Christian (Aaron’s role) now. He’s great in it! Different interpretation and performance to Aaron’s, but Derek does the role justice for sure.
