Good report, I have to do this right now and I searched to get an idea of the task at hand and it looks fairly easy hell of a job there sir....I have a 71 4 door
Working on a full ground-up restoration on my 71 Chevelle. Frame is powdercoated, rear end rebuilt. Currently working on front end rebuild. This is by far the best video I have seen so far. Awesome! Thanks.
Nice job Dave...thanks for doing another vid on the Chevelle...doing some simple minor repairs yourself can save ya big money and having the pride in knowing you did it yourself.
I'm about the change the front and rear shocks on the 58 Bel Air. I've done all the other mechanical work so far and your video gave me confidence to change my shocks and save $100s of dollars. Thanks!!
Great video you have really helped me with my build, I have a 1970 Buick Skylark, I used your video for disc brake replacement, and now I will use this …. Just saying thanks I truly appreciate it.
Thank you so much for the video!!! Working on a 64 Mercury Montclair Breezeway...dang shock was missing all of a sudden after 4000k after I purchased it. Car going through some vibrations.
Yes. I used everything except for the small canister with the glass site window, I had to add more R12 after 5 years so that is not bad. I am having a hard time getting R12.
I had to buy 15 inch rally wheels and tires after I installed the disc brakes. P225/70R15 100T I like the high profile tires because it sit a little higher and a little softer ride. I do not like the low profile tires. Just me

You are welcome. Trying to do my part in teaching people so they can do it themselves and save some cash.
Did you use the original a/c condenser for your ac? How much of the the factory components did you use to get the a/c going?

Hey, man! No feedback on the improvement!
Night and day
I purchased the same kyb shocks for my 70 monte carlo
I had a 70 Monte Carlo in college, same colors as my Chevelle. I loved that car. I upgraded to a 1974 and that was junk. Bad move for me.
