Thanks for the review. Am surprised by the overall negative assessment since I’d heard that this is a fairly well-loved game in the Otome community. But I do agree that a slow-burn romance is more satisfying, while the routes in this game sound very rushed.

Honestly, Charade Maniacs is a mixed bag and it isn't for everyone, but I loved this game... so much. I found all the routes enjoyable and the story enthralling. The translations sucked though...

Even if I was into Otome games, this one seems like a dud
