The Cure Chronicles: HIV with Emma Cole

Emma is an HIV activist from the UK who has been living with HIV for 31 years. She is a TEDx speaker and conducts “Positive Voice” talks, where she speaks at schools and businesses, spreading awareness about HIV, its treatment, and her journey since being diagnosed back in 1991. Emma visits over 100 schools every year and has spoken to an estimated 350,000 young people across the UK and Europe. She volunteered at “Positive Youth”, where she shared her story as a woman living with HIV to correct misconceptions about HIV. Emma is dedicated to using her personal experience and knowledge to help challenge stigma around HIV and to improve HIV awareness.
About The Cure Chronicles:
There are more than 37 million people in the world currently living with HIV/AIDS. At Addimmune, we believe there is hope for a cure. But it will take everyone working together to make it a reality and permanently end the suffering of millions of people living with HIV today.
