1948 CJ2A "Top Speed" Run (It's Not Fast)

I thought it would be nice to get the Jeep out of the garage for Veterans Day and drive around a little. The engine is finally dialed in to "runs like a sewing machine" status. I found myself on a main road so I tried to get the Jeep up to its top speed. It's a Willys Jeep so 0-60 is not really possible without a tail wind, a downhill road, an overdrive, or a transmission swap. 0-45ish? Takes about a minute. You can floor it for half of that time and not get much faster. The speedometer said 55 but that's wildly inaccurate. GPS speedometer app says right at 45 MPH. No chance of speeding in this Jeep.
