Glad you seem to be feeling better. And nice list with explanations. 'Salem's Lot is the only one I've actually read, but I've heard positive things about several of the others. 😊 Have a good one!
@Dillon__Morris I get in a mood for it occasionally. I've avoided "Name of the Wind" because it seems likely to permanently bear those "unfinished series" stigmata, but people seem to praise that novel very highly. Joe Abercrombie and R. Scott Bakker are two other fantasy writers I want to try. Folks seem to have a lot of fun with the Dresden Files stuff as well.
I'm in the middle of Frankenstein now! I'm almost halfway through. And my kindle tells me I am about 20% through the first Mistborn book. So far I am really enjoying both.
Great to see you back, Dillon! Hoping your 2025 is a great one! :) I just posted a buddy read video on Jurassic Park. I hope to do more buddy reads this year!
Awesome to see Salem’s Lot high up on the list! It was one of my top 10 in 2023. I thought for sure you’d have Under the Whispering Door on here. If I had done a top 10 for 2024 (which I didn’t, way too many to contemplate) it probably would’ve been high up.
@@Dillon__Morris Oh! Oops, I must be getting my videos mixed up again. I do that a lot trying to keep up with so many people lol. Well at least it made one of your tops lol.
@@PagesandChaosnice! Sanderson has said it’s one of the better books to start the Cosmere with so there ya go! It’s been burning a hole in my book shelf for like a year but I haven’t gotten to it yet
Good day sir! I am a teen who is reading animal farm and autobiography of nikola tesla. I was hoping you could share your opinions on them. I really seem to like sci fi genre. Also could you give some possible suggestions fot me? Thanks a lot. Have a great day and i hope you really grow.
Hello! Animal Farm is a great book and a fantastic allegory of communism. If you are an Orwell fan, 1984 is a must read. Fantasy is more my niche and if you are looking to get into fantasy, The Hobbit, Piranesi, and Mistborn are all excellent jumping in points.

Thank you! Do you read much fantasy? The Name of the Wind is a must read

@@Dillon__Morris Can you do a review of In Shades of Black and White by Nathan Horan

Awesome list. I have plans on picking up Mistborn this year.
Oh awesome! Have you read any of the Cosmere or will that be your introduction?
@ I have read Tress of the Emerald Sea and LOVED it. I know it’s a standalone but I was told it’s in the Cosmere universe.

@ ah perfect! Can’t wait to see your thoughts when you get to it.
You know its a good list when 4 of the books where written by or has Brandon Sandersson as Co-author. :)
Absolutely! Almost done with The Way of Kings and I feel like this years list will have a lot of Sanderson as well
Great list Dillon lot of bangers!
Right?? Was such a good year. I’m about 700 pages into The Way of Kings so 2025 is looking good as well
I would very much like to know what bookshelf that is haha, great video!
Thank you! I’m not sure which one it was exactly but I got it off of Amazon
Nice. Good to see you back. Getting ready to start the WOT. It's super intimidating.
It’s a great time though! Excited to see what you think
Yes!! Name of the Wind!! I’m so glad we got to buddy read this!
Yes! Hi Maeve, hope you’ve been doing well!
@ I have been! Thank you! 😊
