My ancestory is from Castlerea. My great grandfather was Patrick Feeley who fled the British around the turn of the 20th century along with his brother Mike. Their father Terrance had been hanged by the British and so they were on the run and found their way to America. Anyway, that's ultimately how I came to be born. My Grandfather Edward went back in the 60s to visit the old homestead in Cadtlerea and I have thought about the town ever since my childhood.
