Holy Shit Dude. It was indeed decky recorder. . I turned it off and my Desktop mode works again. I wasnt too happy that I would have to buy a New keyboard just to input some Konsole commands. My Virtual keyboard works perfect for my needs.
And btw I tried doing the console command first and it doesn't work. The next time you reboot the steam deck it will crash again switching to desktop mode

Every time I've had this issue, when the screen finally comes back on, it's updating, so idk if this is actually always the cause or not, but it has been for me, and afterwards, the deck works fine, but it takes like 15-20mins for the deck to finally come back on, but it will make the little beep when you press the power button while the screen is black. Hope this helps someone.
when i try to remove the decky recorder, this issue still not solved yet, so i try to remove sortcut for chrome & dolphin (explorer) from the game mode and it works.
Didn't help my case idk I just bought a jasux dock and it works except for desktop mode Everytime I try and switch to desktop it doesn't connect to TV but my deck shows up with desktop still When I'm in gaming mode it blacks the decks screen out and it connects to my TV
you may unfortunately, have a completely different issue going on then , Post your detail in a reddit or Facebook group and someone will be willing to help you fix it. There are lots of friendly tech savy people in the community that are willing to just help someone out
Are u one beta or preview? I tried resolving the black screen by switching to beta but deckyloader didnt show up switched back to stable and it was there again, looks like this fixed the black screen for me
