  • Dallas Mavericks have bested the Oklahoma City Thunder in game 6 of the NBA playoffs. Luka Doncic had another triple double and was helped tremendously by his teammates. Derek Lively being a major reason as to why this win was possible. The Thunder simply couldn't get stops and lost the momentum. Shai Gilgeous-alexander had a great game but there simply wasn't enough offensively to stem the tide of the Mavericks.

@@theheebs100I wouldn’t go that far. He was plenty problematic for a while post-CLE though it was generally off-court. Ky becoming my 3rd favorite Mav ever was literally not a possibility in any universe one year ago haha

KAIwas never the problem! Many of his teammates have went on the record to mention this. Racist Boston and their negative media, NY and their toxic media and Cleveland attempting to use him as a scapegoat for the team’s shortcomings tryna appease Lebron were the problem. He’s always been this way. Dallas media just knows not to dive into personal issues and keep it strictly basketball. Even if they did KAI is more guarded with his beliefs/opinions so he would avoid the mistake of trusting media now. Also… I can tell by ur comment that ur only riding the wave bc the Mavs/Kyrie is winning. Stay over there bro we don’t need nor want that fair weather energy over here ✌🏽

@@lv_lambo3162 I mean, yeah? That’s how sports typically work. I just admitted I didn’t expect this aka I was wrong. There’s no question DAL media vs BOS/NY media is a huge difference. But you can’t blame all of it on the media. We don’t have to pretend none of that ever happened though. It is in fact possible to say some of it was bad, some was way overblown, and he probably has always been a good dude regardless.

Many may have been starters with the Hornets, but not for the teams they have joined afterwards. I wonder what he would look like on a different team. I say this because the team a player goes to is such an important thing. The coach, the teammates, the offensive scheme, etc all come into play and on a different team Lively may look like a completely different player. I wish more fans would understand this. Lively knows his role really well and does exactly what the Mavs ask of him. Rebound, rim protect, and catch lobs. Put em on a diff team and they may be asking him to do diff things, things that he isn't good at.

OKC has crazy potential to compete for years and years. I just hope they don't "do dumb" this off-season and they will be just fine. They are basically a good solid block of man short of a really good team. Someone who can guard the big boys and keep things honest with his play... Don't know who that is, but that is the part they were missing against Dallas and it would have been an issue against Wolves and especially against Jokic and the Nuggets... Other than that the OKC roster is fine and with the ages on their players there will be a lot of natural growth over the years, so as long as they can keep this team relatively intact, they will be competing sooner rather than later... Winning the west race for the top spot and all this hoopla of being the youngest this, youngest that, can lead the players to be complacent which can hold the natural growth, but we'll see how that turns out.

If anyone find an opening a weakness or make a mistake, the loser it going to get their ass whoop, It's not going to be close
I hope it's the Nuggets. but either way, doesn't matter who.
The Denver Nuggets or the Minnesota Timberwolves vs the Dallas Mavericks is going to be GOOD

Remember the foul call against Myles Turner at the end of the Knicks/Pacers game, the offensive foul call, so many fans and analysts said it was a terrible call and everyone wanted players to decide the game not the refs. But at the end of this game everyone seems find with a ref blowing the whistle with 2.5 seconds left and that called decided the game.

So refs should let players smack each other's arm while shooting a potentially game winning shot.. Remember what happened when they didn't call that foul on Tatum for smacking LeBron's arm on that layup??
