I was still determined to follow my first order ever given to me in the US military and wanting to prove myself a good soldier once again started running directly at his as instructed when suddenly he looked directly at me once again and screamed "GET OFF MY GRASS!!!" this time in an even more agitated state than the first time, once again I stopped and immediately accessed that he couldn't possibly be talking to me because I wasn't standing in grass, I knew exactly what grass looked like and I wasn't in any, so once again determined to follow the original instruction of getting to where he was as quickly as possible I'd just started to lean forward to start moving towards him when a look came over his face that gave me no doubt whatsoever that the deficiency was on my part, in a flash I simultaneously noticed that everyone else who was running out the door of the barracks building as soon as they had were splitting immediately to the right and left and running down a sidewalk that on both legs turned 90° and led into the large paved area that he was standing in, although I knew I wasn't standing in any grass I recognized that my best course of action would be to reverse my direction and head back to the sidewalk and follow everyone else to where he was standing, and maybe later on I could have a conversation with that gentleman and explain to him what grass is. An hour later when the sun came up and I could see my surroundings I learned that in El Paso TX grass was a scarce commodity and gravel is commonly used as a substitute in it's place, I was no longer confused, I also had determined by then that I wasn't going to have that conversation about grass with that gentleman either.
He retired in 2005 - months after a warning order that the battalion would be deployed to Iraq - to run for Congress. He left his unit hanging without its senior Non-Commissioned Officer. Walz had been selected for the US Army Sergeants Major Academy and promoted to Command Sergeant Major in 2004 - which required him to serve two more years or lose the promotion. His retirement nullified the promotion and, on September 10, 2005, his rank was reduced to Master Sergeant, according to the Daily Wire.
At least Walz served his country as soldier, teacher, coach, and statesman. Trump received his own "warning order" and instead of taking his chances of being called to serve, he ran to Daddy and they found a Dr they could pay off and he suddenly came down with bone spurs. He was doing the job of a CSM and studied for it as he taught school & served in the National Guard. He decided to retire to run for office - at the urging of his students. After 24 years he submitted his retirement - 7 months before his unit was assigned to go overseas. He had zero advance notice of deployment. @@stevenparker7946 "zero advance notice of deployment" say you dont know what you're saying without saying it. Units have about 18 months of advance notice of deployment at the minimum. The orders simply don't cut until about 6 months prior to leaving. @anthonyvaleroso921 no, he didnt earn the rank. In order to earn the CSM rank, you dont just need to fill the role, you have to complete 2 years in the Sergeant major academy, and then serve an additional 2 years after completion of academy to earn the rank. If you fail either of those, you are automatically reduced to master sergeant. He was offered the CSM position in 2003, his original contract date had him retiring in 2007, which would have allowed him to retired as a CSM E9. He dropped his papers 2 years and 5 months early, meaning he neither completed the school nor did he serve the minimum time in grade. He took that position away from someone else who would have served its full capacity and left early because he didnt want to deploy, stating he was running for office despite the fact that the military and national guard allow for double service. His own troops accused him of abandoning them, and the man who had to fill his role called him a scumbag for forcing his duties onto another CSM who had to double their work load to make up for his cowardice. He originally reenlisted in september 2001, yet dropped his papers in May of 2005. He now claims he only signed a 4 year contract, which still doesnt make sense as to how he left 5 months early without some kind of medical discharge, and why he would be offered the role, because he would never have been offered the CSM role in 2003 if he did not have at least 4 years left on his contract.

@@blairhoughton7918 he did not have to leave the guard in order to run for Congress. We have several members of Congress in the guard. Try to do the research correctly from both sides before you say something is a lie.
Master Sargeant. He never completed sergeant major school nor did he serve the minimum 2 years post school to retain the rank and was automatically returned to his master sergeant rank. He acted in the position of a CSM but he did not earn the rank.
He did earn the rank and served as such. You can say "he served as CSM" or that "he retired when he was a CSM". Both are factual, he was E-9 when he retired but reverted to E-8 for retirement benefit purposes only.
He lied about his Rank then claimed he misspoke for 19 years... you cant make this s13t up
At least he didn’t have bone spurs
@@kadelouis9943 this is worse…this is literally fraud
You think he would have been more effective during the riots in minneapolis in that case
Add in a gracious helping of "Behoove "
It would behoove of you....
Not a CSM... was a conditional promotion requiring completion SM Academy and other requirements, none of which Walz did because after the unit was alerted for deployment to Iraq, he put in his retirement paperwork and left his FA battalion without a senior enlisted leader. I don't care which party this guy was from... that is BS. Further, he's gone around since 2005 claiming a) he is the most senior enlisted person ever to serve in Congress, and b) his unit deployed to Iraq. The first is a damn lie, and the second is a damning truth... his CSM promotion was nullified through his own action, and his unit did go to Iraq... without him.
So he left in 2005 just before the Iraq War surge... of 2007? Damn what a monster.
What are Republicans allergic to linear time?
@@scruffopone3989 Good... so we agree he lied about his rank 2005-present. Glad we settled that. Are you saying there were no units being deployed to Iraq in 2005? Ah... thought so. Might want to also review the reason why we surged. Perhaps if Walz had provided the enlisted leadership he was tasked to provide, we would not have needed to surge as casualties escalated.
We will look back on this as just the first of a series of really bad decisions on the part of a really horrible decision maker. Shapiro would have been a better bet, but the Hamas wing of the Dem Party nixed that. Walz brings nothing to the table... it's just more Dem Socialist stuff, and if Kammie cannot carry Minnesota by her lonesome, the campaign has other, far more serious issues.
And did you just assume my party?
@@scruffopone3989 Seems like you assumed my party, miss. No troops deployed in Iraq prior to the surge? Yeah... no. Plenty of deployments... just not enough, which is why we had to surge. Maybe do a little research before replying next time. Walz left AFTER his unit was alerted for deployment to Iraqi 2005, despite occupying a key enlisted leadership position. Apparently, he really wanted to be an E-9, but not enough to either finish the requirements to make that promotion stand (it was nullified) or honor his commitment to his fellow soldiers. Small dick move.
@@scruffopone3989I’m a bit confused, (and clearly didn’t serve, or I would know this), but the dates are showing- Operation Enduring Freedom (OEF) began in October 2001. Operation Iraqi Freedom (OIF) began on March 20, 2003. (2007 seems awful late.)
*Just a question. Don’t bite my head off please.
Also Tim Walz: 2020 riots & terrible military record.
He is not a CSM or SM either. He never completed the SM academic nor hold the rank for 3 years as required by DOD policy.
He wasn't actually a CSM, he left service as his unit was about to mobilize without achieving the necessary terms for his conditional promotion.
He actually retired a MSG as a result.
"Was about to"
Yeah, two years after he retired. That's not "About to".
@@scruffopone3989, no, as per the terms of the Sr. NCO CSM training he agreed to, his obligation was extended and it was not 2 years before mobilization, as per the CSM who was required to take his place.
Yea dont focus on him abandoning his unit before deployment or anything.
As long as no one calls him a Command Sergeant Major.
From what I've seen on the subject, you have to choose either CSM or SGM when you enroll in the school; it's not like E8 where you switch between MSG or 1SG depending on assignment. So yeah it'd be "true" to say he retired as CSM, but it's more accurate to say he _is_ a retired MSG.
If you care about it, you're still going to vote for him over the asshole that says a Medal of Honor isn't desirable because you came home messed up.
You can say "he served as CSM" or that "he retired when he was a CSM". Both are factual, he was E-9 when he retired but reverted to E-8 for retirement benefit purposes.
Will Walz be enforcing the "Grooming Standard!"??
No it's the Unkempt Awkward!
I thought your mom was still telling you when to bathe, brush your teeth, and comb your hair. Now you want the government to tell you?
He was not a.command Sergeant Major. He retired before fulfilling the educational requirements. You should know this, which lets me know, that you're simping for certain political parties.
He didnt tell that to BLM
Ryan, he didn't retire as a CSM - he never completed the requirements. This has been known he's been lying for years.
But claimed to be a command sergeant his entire career....
no he didn't stop it with the BS
@niuean3000 Yup. Stop with the corny "I'm not tryna get political!" nonsense. And tell the f-ing truth.
Retired Master Sargeant, did not fonish requirements for Sargeant Major.
Truth that nobody wants to acknowledge or address during his honeymoon phase ... What about Walz's DUI while exceeding 95 mph in a 55 mph zone? That's fine but don't appraise your property at more than it may be worth, have the bank approve it and pay off the loan in full because Orange Man Bad...
Didn't Mock Medal of Honor holders on TV.
Also bitched out before his unit deployed so they went out without their senior NCO. Apparently he didn't want to have something so pedestrian as military deployment distract him from political office.
@Paul-cu9lu he served one day, that us a thousand times more than traitor trump. JOINT CHIEFS INFORMED TRAITOR TRUMP THAT PUTIN HAS PUT A BOUNTY ON OUR TROOPS and Traitor trump did nothing and kept silent about this. Wonder what percentage of the Putin bounty on our military do republican voters get for being silent about this?
@Paul-cu9lu
And the unit was deployed overseas . How soon after he left?
Right... it took more than 2 years.
Better than captain bone spurs.
Tampon tim made sure there were tampon in the boys restroom 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Is is not, he never finished the required school. He is a Master Sargent. He also never deployed to combat. I am retired 22 years Army and he is a pos, for lying about his service and rank. I know a lot of soldiers that never deployed, and they don't lie or "misspoke" about it.
He’s a retired MSG
The National Guard has referred to him as a Sergeant Major and they know better than the Trump campaign office.
The President is the one person that can walk on that grass... no?
Get off my God Dam Grass 😂🤣😂
God damn grass? You’ve seen my lawn I gather.
I am not worthy
He is a retired master sergeant!
He did not complete his two years or deploy as a command sergeant major as he continuously misrepresents his service.
"Retired" is the functional word here. This boy obviously has authority issues.
Umm… “retired” is a nice way to say He quit when his unit was going to be called up to go to Afghanistan cuz he is apparently a coward!
I mean, Trump faked having bone spurs to avoid going to war ever
That argument doesn't make much sense given the timeline
@@peterson7082 the timeline is that:
• In 2001 Walz signed on for another 6 years service
• informally the battalion leadership received a heads-up they were to be deployed, late in 2004.
• In May "05 Walz put in his paperwork to retire with 2 years left in his contract
• in July '05 the actual warning order for deployment was received.
• the actual order to deploy was received in October '05.
• Walz retired in December '05
• 1-125 Field Artillery deployed to Iraq in March '06
I mean, quit his unit because they were going to deploy, then retired as a master sergeant-that’s some Sergeant Major.
Apparently he’s lied about most of his service record and was called out about it many many years ago.
He really hasn't lied
He didn't retire a Sargent Major. He got promoted to that in his Guard unit but when called up to go to Iraq he quit. He also got busted back down.
Respectfully request his retired rank be fact checked.
