Absolutely uplifting to see a DOT Secretary in Sulu, and to have the opportunity to watch this amazing Tausug community come together. I am so inspired, and looking forward to the future... if you are ever thinking of visiting Sulu? Just contact the Provincial tourism office (Sulu Provincial Tourism) on their Facebook Page. Power On!
Great work! I was in Sulu last in 2015 on a Philippine discovery/holiday/honeymoon trip with my wife who is from Tagum City, to visit family. While it was still considered unsafe , we had escort with family and found everyone friendly and welcoming. I'm looking forward to returning and NOT seeing roadblocks and military at every turn. Peace wins!
Nakaka proud as filipino makita na mabigyan nang spotlight ang SULU and i cant wait what SULU has to offer. Kyle, thank you very much for what you do promoting the beauty of the Philippines. For the love that you have to our beloved country. I wish you all the best in life and more adventures to come. Much love brother. ♥
Hiii, Kulas!! I'm the one who's wearing black hijab and red shirt. The one who talked to you in front of Shara's Cafe. Me and my friends really enjoyed our short but memorable conversation. Thank you for coming, this is one of the sign that Sulu is now peaceful and open for all. Kudos sayo, magsukul usug marayaw Kulas!!❤️
@BecomingFilipino = It must be inspiring and MOTIVATING to revisit places, and seeing the PROGRESS being made, Kyle / Kulas. Big or small, planned or random, you continue to make a difference throughout the Philippines. Journey on, Kulas! 👍🤙 P.S. What an honor to see the DOT Secretary up close and personal -- thru your vlog, Kulas. Her presence speaks volume. 🫡
Nice video Kulas. you really did show us how nice and Amazing Sulu is now. John Deeeee good to see you with Kulas .. I will surely add to the bucket list Sulu with the tour guide.
Love all the things you do on your channel and keep doing it Kulas. So wonderful to see a peaceful and beautiful Sulu and thank you for showcasing their happy and very colourful culture.😊
Well Done Brother Kulas/Kyle. Amazing!!!!!!!Please help Jolo, Sulu become the Future Tourism Destination of the South...Hoping one day that investors will help the Island and give livelihood to my Awesome Muslim Brother in Jolo..Kudos!
Your videos always exude good vibes, but this one especially so - even more than usual. This gave me such a good feeling that I want to board a flight for Sulu tomorrow. It was so momentous for the DOT Secretary to go to Sulu. And it was also a delight to see Sadiq again. Your encounter with the group of girls at the end of the video was so fun to see and made me literally laugh out loud - especially the girl with the glasses! What an awesome group of young ladies! So happy to see Jahndee again. It's been a long time since he was in one of your vlogs. (I was wondering who was serving as your cameraman.)
ang ganda pala ng sulu! hahabol ng kaunlaran yan lalong lalo na ma picture ang mga tourist spots jan, hindi pa huli, sana dina babalik ang kaguluhan jan
Wow amazing people of sulu , I've been in Zamboanga during my college but never been in sulu.definitely someday I will visit the whole Mindanao and explore the beauty of nature and meet our Muslim brothers and sisters.god bless Philippines.
MINDANAO should be given the chance to improve their economy and respect the Muslim community. Government should put more infrastructure in SULU and the rest of Mindanao. greetings from Cebu
I have been watching your videos for a long time now but do not make any comments only if someone moves or interests me . On this occasion I have to make a comment, how elegant and absolutely beautiful all the ladies are just stunning I wish them with tourism in the future always enjoy all you content, congratulationson your future marriage wishingyou many years of happiness ahead 🙏✌. I am never going to get to these places because of age so I visit them though your wonderful videos. From Pembrokeshire West wales 🏴
Kyle, Thank you very much for promoting the beauty of the Philippines. I just got back in Ontario from the Philippines last night. Although I am Canadian now, I've never lost my love for my homeland. You are such a wonderful person, always positive. I can't wait to see when you get married to Therine. God bless!
Such a milestone in Sulu history. So proud of Sulu and show the world what you got. Congratulations. 👍🏽 I was wondering who was helping you out with your camera; nice to see Jundee. 🤙🏽Thank you and Power On!
The tausog teen girls are full of life and appreciate the presence of kulas. The people of sulu understood the importance of global tolerance even the Saudis are now more adept of the importance of technology and innovation to further the cause of humanity. Muslims are more tolerance and peace seeking in these new generation. The past is just a glimpse of the memory. Human advancement is important for the sake of human survival.
The men's and women's dress of Tausug people are awesome thanks for showcasing their culture and prayers that peace would continue in these parts. Power on Kulas
This made me emotional 🥹🥹🥹 so happy for Sulu! Finally they will be seeing as a beautiful place to visit… their culture alone has many to offer to the tourists. Sulu is not a dangerous place if you are respectful and kind and so pure love. Good luck to Sulu!!!
I am from Mindanao but have not visited the province of Sulu. I have seen several vlogs about this place and it is very beautiful especially the people, they are beautiful inside and out. Their culture is awesome! ..food, music, dress, language and tradition, etc. So proud of these places...Sulu and Tawi-Tawi. I wish many tourists will visit these two places. I see it is safe place to see and experience.
This is what I'm waiting to be open and active in terms of tourism and Festival. Dahil ang daming magagandang traditiona and culture of Sulo☺️ watching from Surigao
I didnt know how beautiful sulu is until now.. i will definitely visit that place and be one in my bucket list. Salamat Becoming Filipino for opening our eyes thru your vlog.
Kudos to DOT and PBBM admin.
hahaha good job kaayo dong! sieeng dot sec visited Zulu is just like the family you forgot for a decade and now finding them in isolated places to give back the past you've lost, that's how I feel for our brothers and i hope that this is the best start of a new chapter, boosting tourism, economic development, uplifting cultural heritage for our Muslim brothers.
I'm hoping that the whole Mindanao will showcase it's natural beauty and wonders to the rest of the world. For so many years Mindanao has been isolated from the Philippines in terms of tourism as stained of terrorism in the area which brings fear to the tourists to visit Mindanao. Thanks Kyle Jennerman a.k.a Kulas for letting me world knows how safe and beautiful is Mindanao nowadays. You deserved the grant for Filipino citizen with your dedication and love for the Philippines your channel is a platform of posivity and showing the beauty of the whole Philippines. God bless and take care everytime you roam the country. May the Lord Jesus Christ will protest and bless your journey that you'll be covered HIS mantle of protection.
Imagine Sulu becomes the next Palawan. Knowing Sulu has a rich culture and very beautiful beaches and mountains to explore. I hope and pray that the people of Sulu will be knowledgeable enough to maintain a peaceful community and be aware and think about positivity that would bring the next generations to prosperity. I am sure Sulu Hulu will surpass Bali Indonesia if peace will be the people's priority.❤
I think it’s great. The DOT visited Sulu for tourism. A beautiful and very historic area that should be discovered. Will be great for the country and local economy. The unfortunate part, especially from the US is the ignorance of understanding Muslim religion. It’s still the Philippines, full of loving and proud, caring people which translates individually, although some stigma still exists on the Muslim culture abroad. The Philippines shows how Christianity & Muslim Religion can coexist without conflict of beliefs. 🙏🏻🇵🇭
I'm a Tausug born in Zamboanga City, and now living in Cebu City. I was about 7 years old when my mom last brought me to Jolo and now I'm 35, and everything is just a blur. Inshaallah I'll be coming back to the roots of my parents this month of March.
I commend you Kyle for showing a side of Sulu that many of us foreigners never see. Their culture is beautiful and they have made great strides to encourage tourism in that area. However, I will never be able to disassociate Sulu with the many kidnappings....especially the kidnapping of your fellow Canadians that resulted in their beheading in Sulu in April of 2016. Although the government has declared that area free of terrorists, there are still many of the leaders that yet to be captured. I wish the people of that area all the best in promoting their beautiful island but I'll stick to visiting the rest of the Philippines on my visits.
