You can get xpression kanekalon hair used for braids and its the same thing, way cheaper. Just boil wash it before rerooting
Not only that you’ll need to shampoo the hair before you use because of the wax fillers you need to rinse the kanekalon hair until the water turns clear from washing.
I rerooted Abby with blues & white when I customized her for my niece. It looked great 😊

As I was trying to reroot my clawdeen I poked the hair instead of the hole and I created 2 tiny slashes .has that ever happened before or just me? Thanks for answering

Rerooting is a real pain. Did it 1st time a couple weeks ago. My finger got so maimed, I started wearing latex gloves. It took 3 days !! 2015 Bratz r such a menace. After an experience like that, I also would never cut the hair. I can’t even style hair. I’d rather them have their Britney Spears moment & b gorgeous & bald than mess it up AFTER already rerooting 😮💨

i re rooted my g3 abbey who desperatley needed it because poly hair sucks and i used kanekalon even though i heard its bad and it was so good i guess its just where you get it from

Hey I have a suggestion when you are picking the hair off your finger and I picks you should put tape on you finger to prevent that. That’s what I do at least

@@kluski3423 ok mine had little balls and it's actually not too bad for tinsle. I didn't boil wash her but the hair was nice after just a regular wash.

I love this. Kanekelon is my favorite fiber too, I have it on so many old Barbies and I've never even bothered boil washing their hair because it actually looks so good out of box after a good brush. It's a pretty amazing hair type.
I think your rerooted Abbey is 1000% better than the way she came, and you've inspired me to get on top of rerooting my polypropylene dolls.
Question! How did you decide what kind of glue to use? I have fear about this due to my old G1 Draculaura's glue seepage issue.
Yesss I love the old Barbie’s with kanekalon, they restore so nicely! I just used some fabric glue that I got from Amazon and you don’t have to worry about it seeping through because it dries super fast and becomes rubbery. It’s almost like silicone. Keep me updated on your reroots!
