- Arlington Police Chief Al Jones says a Bowie High School 18-year-old student was shot and killed by a 17-year-old student, who has since been arrested.

It's funny that the officer said they don't tolerate violence. From 2007-2010 when i was 13-16 i was jumped repeatedly EVERY SINGLE DAY by some punks claiming to be south side crips (SSC) . Me and my parents made multiple police reports and EVERY SINGLE TIME Arlington police told us they had to be there to witness it when i got my skull split with a 2x4 with a nail in it for them to do anything even though I knew exactly where the people were. I was 13 getting jumped by 13-34 year olds for no reason. This happened off new york and browning. Arlington police are jokes. I have lost faith in them a long time ago.
It’s not gonna stop. These kids post all day showing you their guns an acts of violence. They are fearless and the community blind to the evidence.
How did a seventeen-year-old get a gun to take to school? Now two young men have lost their lives. The seventeen-year-old on his way to prison. The other on his final march to his grave. A march is happening way to soon.

Dallas and Arlington ISD need to start having officers on school grounds our own kids aren't even safe at school this is so common in DFW
It all starts with parents. Kids start down a bad path at a young age and end up criminals before they get out of high school. The shoot one another over silly crap. Worse they kill others while trying to kill each other.
Hey they got cops on every courthouse. BUT NONE for our kids at school
Quite sure that would not have stopped this incident. Two students near a portable building on Campus. Cops can't be everywhere.
As a Retired Dallas ISD, Dallas been having Police Officers at their Jr High and ALL High School for over 30yrs‼️‼️We Been having Metal Detectors & several Officers at these schools. My Prayers goes out to the Parents🙏Parents take time out to talk to your Kids 🙏🙏🙏

I graduated from Bowie high school in 1981 and lived in Arlington for 40 years. So what I notice is, the more diversity we got in the city, the higher the crime went. You can't argue with me What I know to be a fact. We used to drive up to the schools with the shotguns in our racks. It's not the guns, it's the culture.😂
Let's talk about "diversity and culture" shall we? Seems as though you'd be happy that it was another so called culture that did this. They only had issues with one another, and that in and of itself is horrific but we both know that another culture (yours) would have taken the lives of teachers, janitors, multiple students and their own parents simply because their feelings were hurt. So Instead of making sly racist remarks, check the grass in your own backyard. If you don't know what I mean, you're dumber than you came across in your post.
Heard it was a fight over a girl and that the hirl set up that guy to get shot so she should be charged also.
Goodness... I have seen the chief host these press conferences more than I would like. Parents have to rear their children properly.
This is very sad I used to go live in that area 🙏🏿🙏🏿🙏🏿🙏🏿 been out to the school plenty of times it always felt safe there.
Yea back when I was in High school Sam Houston was the only bad school because they sent all the bad areas there we even had Dalworth which is in GP because GP didn't want them in their school.
