I recently read "The Unrequited" by Saffron A. Kent, a book from 2017. I thought of you because this book had so much angst and also had cheating. The hero is a poet author who has become a college professor in order to save his marriage. The heroine is a student who sneaks into his class after seeing the professor and becoming intrigued with him. I just double checked the rating on Goodreads (3.96) and I saw that you have read this one. I don't think I remember hearing you talk about it.....but it was six years ago now. I really liked it.
I just finished The Complicated Hearts Trilogy by Ashley Jade and my oh my that was filled with so much angst and a rollarcoaster of a relationship, family drama, etc. too. It was so good. 🔥🥵 (It does have some triggers though so be prepared.)
Jessica you NEED to read Black swan affair by K. L. Kreig. You got it ages ago and you still haven't read it. It definitely falls in this category. Just don't read the synopsis and go on blind. Trust me you'll enjoy it so much more this way.
I have not been reading much in June at all. I've been so busy! I'm currently reading Part of Your World by Abby Jimenez and enjoying it! Who doesn't love a baby goat in pink pajamas???
The summer we fell sounded so good but then you said she’s a famous singer and he’s a famous surfer in the present 😒 what are the odds that both of them are famous in the future lol 😂 idk I might still give it a shot but it’s very annoying when writers give their characters these crazy successful careers in the future. It just starts feeling a little campy, and then I can’t take the characters seriously.
I really want to read The Choice but am waiting on the next book to come out. A Jade’s radio silence makes me nervous…like is that book gonna happen?? 😢
