Nochur ji is special for his true wisdom. This place is special to me because my pujya mother and dad got married at this place, the Abhedananda Ashramam. What i understood from her is that this is the only marriage that has happened here. After that, it has become a place of worship for the Lord. For me, that is why this place is so special to us. Sri Chatambi Swamigal was known to my grandmother's family. When I chanced upon this episode of the great Swamigal Nochur ji, thought of penning this note that my mother told me herself.. Named after the divine mother herself, my mother was called Ambika. For her, everything was the grace of the divine mother. When she didn't worship her, she worshipped Karthikeya and my dad was a great Ayyappa bhaktan. Their marriage truly was made in heaven. My dad adored my mother and for me this ashramam holds a special place in my heart, and the land, Thiruvananthapuram is Ananthan's bhumi waiting to regain its old glory.
