I still think it is wrong that Aussie's are trying to claim her, I am from England & I think she is incredibly talented, I cannot wait for her to tour here. But NZ deserve more stars, its not fair for the Oz to claim her, just because she has lived their for a period, and had exposure to a different musical scene than maybe whats on offer in NZ. That's like saying Canada is an extension of America. Just because we have a similar accent, and are close to each other does not make them an extension. I'd personally feel really pissed off if another country tried to claim us and adopt our identity. Australians would lose their shit if Asia/America/Africa/UK tried to "claim us"
