One thing I love about Goofy's death is Mickey's reaction. He's been so concerned about hiding from the Organization, even taking the coat from DiZ to help him do so. But when they fucked with Goofy, he decided to throw off the cloak that was keeping him hidden and fight them. Mickey is a real one.
"we need to work covertly, since we don't know exactly what the Organization is planning. So let's wear these cloaks that hide us, and try to keep others from recognizing us..."

I loved seeing Erika's reaction to the Cavern of Remembrance
To complete the Cavern of Remembrance, you need to level up your Drive Forms to the max. There are certain challenges within that can't be overcome without the leveled up Forms' powers.
To level up forms:
*Valor Form:* Levels up based on the number of times you hit any enemy while in Valor Form.
*Wisdom Form:* Levels up based on how many _Heartless_ (not Nobodies or characters who are neither Heartless nor Nobodies) you kill while in Wisdom Form.
*Limit Form:* Levels up based on how many times you use the Finish command while using a Limit while in Limit Form.
*Master Form:* Levels up based on how many Drive Orbs you collect while in Master Form.
*Final Form:* Levels up based on how many _Nobodies_ (not Heartless or characters who are neither Heartless nor Nobodies) you kill while in Final Form.
There are guides online that you can use to help find the best places to level up each form.

Facts: Sephiroth in kh2 is also voice as Superman from JL cartoon
Sephiroth's VA here in KH2 (as well as in FF7 Crisis Core and Advent Children... basically anything with Sephiroth talking until Remake came out) is George Newborn... you may know him as the guy who voiced Superman in the Superman Animated Series and Justice League... and he's SUPER good at it.
Great acting from Erika and the perfect reactions from Sarah! I love these videos so much! Goofy's "death" will always be one of the greatest moments in gaming to me. What a trip.

The voice actor for Sephiroth in this game is George Newbern, he has previously voiced Superman. As for the Cavern of Remembrance, you need to level your Drive Forms to be able to navigate it properly.
I love watching this both to experience the game again but also just knowing that Erika has played through this and knows all the things but Sara knows nothing is absolutely hilarious and this section of the game is arguably one of the best places to showcase that 😂😂

Goofy and Ryuji Sakamoto have something in common: they get beat up if it turns out they didn't die.
That reminds me of Persona 2 Innocent Sin, where there was a segment in a Gym, where Tatsuya(main character) pushed Maya away so she could not be hit by dumbbell falling from the ceiling. And yet a few moments later the whole exercise machine fell on Eikichi and he was alright but complaining, that Tatsuya didn't help him XD

We're finally at one of the biggest moments of the game! From Sephiroth's appearance (shoutout to the great George Newbern) to the sad moment involving Goofy, this is truly intense!!
I find it interesting that after KH1, Sephiroth is voiced essentially by Superman.

Nobody who has played rpgs broadly would consider a final fantasy game "really long." They are among the shorter games in the rpg genre. (most take less than 50hrs even on a first playthrough, and less than 30 if you know what you're doing.) That said, Kingdom Hearts games are EXTREMELY short in terms of playtime, so if that's your metric for rpgs, then yeah, almost anything is going to feel "really long."
40:49 I don't know if you will remember Erika, after you finish Birth By Sleep, you NEED to make Sarah immediately rewatch those 2 cutscenes and focus on what the characters are saying.
And to add on what you said after finishing KH3, remember WHO of all people recruit non other than Marluxia, you know what I mean (Union x)

I'd say the start of Space Paranoids & all of the future visits afterwards are one the best parts of KH2!
Btw, you should IMMEDITATELY know who the real ansem is pretending to be the instant you hear that conversation with Xehanort (whose voice you should ALSO recognize right away.) There are no duplicate voices in this game (as in no two characters have the same voice like in skyrim or dragon age, etc.) so if they have the same voice, then they ARE the same person.
To clarify, the 2 added cutscenes from Final Mix (the long way down one, and the one with Zexion) take place before Chain of Memories, but it's unclear HOW LONG before the game. They might even be from before KH1
they're definitely before the endgame of KH1 at the very least, given that Roxas is #13, and he's recruited during that point of KH1...

The scene with Zexion and Xigbar definitely takes place before KH1 as Xigbar mentions he’s just recruited the eleventh member (Marluxia). The organization hasn’t been filled yet as Larxene and Roxas (12 and 13) are missing.
Of course the episode where THIS happens is uploaded the same day the final Fontaine story quest is added to Genshin...
Sarah calling this version of Xehanort attractive is funny because Erika doesn’t like a certain character in BBS.
I wonder if Sarah will immediately pick up on it or if the hair color will throw her off

Watching Erika attempt to explain Xehanort/Xemnas to Sarah really highlights how utterly stupid this story was even in 2 before things got even crazier. I say that with love for this series (except 3) but...yeah.
