My opinion on the scene with Sora crying: he knew that, although Kairi was kidnapped, she was alive. And Saix had just confirmed to him that she was "catching up with her friend from the darkness" moments earlier.
Sora had no idea where Riku was or even if he was still alive until the moment Kairi told him.
That's why he reacted the way he did when he saw both of them.

Her reactions this episode were absolute GOLD. Her bewilderment/disgust towards Riku's new form, her hate towards Ansem the Wise, tHE MENTAL GYMNASTICS TO CONCLUDE EVERYTHING REGARDING AXEL (all occuring from 23:24 on, for those who want that sweet rewatch).
And then there's Erika's "yikes" look after 42:50, and her casually going "so you're already upset about the amount of [Ansems]..."
Absolute comedic perfection. This episode was so good

Sarah's reactions and moments of revelations are hilarious 😂
1. The reason for the Roxas fight is cause Roxas challenged sora for the right to exist.
2. Kairi did not become a heartless because she had no darkness, aka princess of heart, and namine was born the same time that Roxas was when sora stabbed himself with the keyblade.
3. Level up your drive forms of camera if needed, those growth skills are very useful. The game tells you what you need to do, go into the menu>status>whatever drive form>experience.

53:04 aw I am glad Erika realizes that to Sora Riku is on the same level as Kairi! (Albeit the scene is framed in a way that suggests Riku is more important but I agree it’s probably due to not knowing if Riku was okay up to this point)
Yeah. Honestly, the scene with Sora in tears when he finally realizes Riku's okay was taken horribly out of context. He knew Kairi was okay till Axel and Saix nabbed her, which caused him to feel bad that he didn't get to her as quickly as he could've. Riku's whereabouts were still in the air, and Mickey being vague and cryptic about it wasn't helping either. If there's one thing that disgusts me in any story, it's the trope "Platonic writing, romantic reading."

47:19 I just wanna defend something for Sora. The entire game he only remembered her as her KH1 self (and from far away he could barely see the differences). Kairi does look quite different in KH1/KH2 (arguably she matured the most in the one year)
So I can think we can forgive Sora for being abit awkward of her hugging him instantly (and not doing the same).

I doubt it was THAT far ahead. The conversation was probably just forshadowing that his old form would show up in the next game since it's clear from the original secret movie of this game that they planned the next spinoff to be a prequel

PS: OF COURSE he doesn't care about one more than the other. I'm just saying one's a friend he used to have a crush on but isn't so sure anymore, and the other is Riku XD. That's how I read it anyway, but yeah, definitely doesn't care about Riku more than Kairi or vice-versa. I do feel sad for Kairi tho because I do like her and I think it's safe to say she does like Sora that way
Sora KNEW Kairi was alive, and he thought Riku might be DEAD. Yes he was morr emotional here for Riku. But it is literally canon that Kairi is the MOST IMPORTANT PERSON TO SORA
@@insertnamehere2746 Ok, first, sorry for the first part of my comment, I meant it as a joke but I think it turned out a bit toxic. And in the "PS" part I explain that this is all my reading of it, not canon.
Second, Kairi being THE MOST important person to Sora isn't undeniable canon. Unless I'm forgetting something (which could be the case I'm very forgetful) we have NEVER gotten EXPLICIT PROOF that that's the case, just people in KH CoM/Days/2 saying so (like the Organization and Naminé). If you ask me when it comes to the story up to KH2, Sora has a crush on Kairi and most likely still does in KH2 but saying Kairi is more important to him than Riku is a stretch, SPECIALLY in KH2. I'd say they're on the same level of "importance" to him. This is a VERY COMMON thing throughout the whole series: telling you something, while showing you something different. Like when LITERALLY all the characters try to convince you Nobodies have no hearts, but they themselves have been SHOWING you they have emotions since day 1. Some characters (who have never met Sora) and even Riku (which is kinda sad) TELL YOU Kairi is the most important person to Sora, but then the series and its writers keep showing you something else (mainly by keeping Kairi out of the picture, which is even sadder :"D). Whether they're showing you that "Riku is the most important person to Sora" or "they're both equally as important to him" or something else, depends on your own reading, and there's no "canon" to either of them. Because the writers pointedly make the choice to show you the definitive answer later on or not show you at all.

Not only that, the fact they produced Roxas and Namine together proves it

1. Sora SHOWS Saix that she's very important to him, NOT THE MOST important. If it was Riku who was safe on the islands but then got kidnapped, he'd surely be that desperate too.
2. As I said, Riku HAS said so several times in the series. But at the time Riku was CANONICALLY insecure about his friendship with Sora, to the point he even thought himself unworthy of it and didn't want Sora to find him. These insecurities (and him being unworthy of the Keyblade) are HIS WHOLE STORY ARC throughout the entire series. Him saying Sora values Kairi more than him when he's always been insecure about that and Sora has never said or proven so himself CAN'T BE TAKEN AS CANON. Again, the games tell you one thing and show you something entirely different.
3. I fail to see how that proves Sora values Kairi more. The games' LORE has already explained that this was a mix of the basis of how ALL Nobodies are born, Sora's care and love for others (not Kairi specifically) and Kairi being a Princess of Heart. Again, if Riku was (somehow) a Princess of Heart and he had been the one to take shelter inside Sora in KH1 and then Sora had released his heart from inside him in the same way THE EXACT SAME THING WOULD'VE HAPPENED (except we'd get a different character instead of Naminé but with the same powers).

The keyblade gives you final form by using drives, its random with a 50 percent of ani-form. You eventually get it quick.
Just FYI, you only need the Moogle to be level 2 to synthesize the Ultima Weapon, as the "cut synthesis materials for X rank items" upgrades at the higher levels only applies to items you've already crafted.
Additionally, "Ansem" having a Keyblade in these cutscenes is actually a mistake in this version of the game. In the orignal version he had a normal sword, which looked similar to the Keyblade he's weilding.
Is it a mistake? Or a change they made for Final Mix?

7:10 I personally feel Roxas (sensing Axel death) was abit bitter that he was no longer a seperate person so that fight was his inner struggle to settle things on his own terms (instead of just accepting it like other people wanted for him)
Well as you've saw that Diz guy has been Ansem the Wise all the time and you CAN trust him cause King Mickey does. Also Sora has finally found Kairi and it seems that other being is RIKU in the form of Xehanort's heartless aka fake Ansem!

Just to be clear, Ansem DID NOT invent/create the Heartless. XEHANORT is the one who wrote the Ansem Reports talking about artificially creating Heartless (all the artificially created ones have the emblem on them), but even before that Heartless existed in their natural form because darkness has been in people's hearts for centuries if not millenia by this point.

i mean, given that pretty much all the bosses are Dark resistant, and that Antiform didn't even have finisher flags (meaning it couldn't kill bosses) in vanilla KH2, that's not surprising

@@eddmario yeah, Vanilla KH2 Anti is WAY more punishing if you get it. Fortunately, FM made pretty much everything that uses Drive Gauge much better (made charging up the gauge faster, made the summons a lot better, allowed Anti to finish bosses, gave Limit Form, gave Two Becomes One with it's Light and Darkness ability...)
but yeah, if you got Anti in Vanilla, it was a bit of a "guess i'll die" moment

I know what you're trying to do with the Forms (and I also know this is recorded way ahead of time, but I'll say it anyway), but it unfortunately has almost no chance of working in an Organization boss fight.
Two Become One causes Drive Forms to always triggers either Anti-Form or... something else. But Organization boss fights actually have a x5 multiplier for Anti-Form, meaning Anti-Form is 5 times more likely to trigger during an Organization boss foght than in normal gameplay. The thing you want _can_ happen, but it's rare.

I really think that the spinning part of the castle might be the organization XIII members rooms. Like their personal rooms.
I only say that because we only see them walking around or in their chairs. But where are they when they're not there or out and about being meneces?

I will never understand people who don't recognize voices. ESPECIALLY when they themselves are voice actors, and voices are literally their thing lol. There is NO reason to be surprised by the DiZ reveal. The very first time you heard Ansem the Wise speak in the flashback with Xehanort/Mickey it should have INSTANTLY told you who DiZ really was. I can't even imagine not making that connection instantaneously. I'm not saying that people who don't are stupid, I'm saying I legitimately can't fathom it because for me it is so effortless and automatic to make connections like that. It also should have immediately told you that "ansem's heartless" was actually Riku the moment he pulled out the Soul Eater. It makes sense to have questions as to why he looks like that, but it makes no sense whatsoever to doubt that it's really him.

Nah, I'm pretty sure this series equivilent to the Scan fuckup is either Erika loading the wrong save file and overwriting the right one or her not knowing how to level up the drive forms
@@eddmarioI'd go with loading the wrong save. The game does tell you how to level up the Drive Forms, but only in a very specific menu that you otherwise wouldn't ever need to open, so not knowing how to level them up is understandable.
@@eddmario Did you think Erika knows about "that" form since it's easier to get with two become one? I remember the game telling you to f*CK off if you try maxing out all your forms before you get it.
Plus they literally need it for the Cavern of Remembrance

You know, I hope someday Sarah gets to see that "I'm having a stroke" tumblr post about the very confusing state of who's who of characters in the Kingdom Hearts franchise. 😂😂😂 It's SUCH a mess.
Also a comment on the ear piercing thing, I was in a slightly similar situation when I was younger. I got my ears pierced once I was old enough, but then found out the hard way that the medicine I was taking at the time, didn't allow wounds like that to heal so I had to stay off it just long enough for them to close back up (cuz they kept getting infected). Haven't really had the desire to get them re-pierced since though.
(Also, I didn't like Kairi's keyblade growing up [and still don't] and I'm not a boy. 😂I find it to be way too typically girly and froufrou.)

22:25 If you ask me, with everything we've seen so far in Genshin Impact, I'd say a moon in the shape of a heart should be totally normal at this point.
Also, to explain a point for Sarah about Ansem the Wise (and it's all in the secret Ansem report so no spoilers):
Ansem the wise was stabbed in the back by his 6 apprentices who are all members of organization 13 and send him to the realm of darkness, ever since he wanted revenge on them AND the organization, that is why he helped us in Castle Oblivion and why he wanted Sora to awake, so that Sora can challenge and defeat the organization.
Ansem the Wise's apprentices are the first 6 who founded the organization together and are as follow:
Xehanort
Braig - Xigbar
Dilain - Xaldain
Even - Vexen
Aelues - Lexaeus
Ienzo - Zexion
Furthur on, as a Kingdom Hearts plot veteran, with the amount of theories Sarah is coming up with, I REALLLLLY want to deny/confirm, but I can't, we all share the same feeling with you Erika. It's a long way until she reach Dark Road and before it KH3, seeing her barely able to keep is funny but I hope she can understand it all at the end. Also, I do hope you get to show Sarah the mobile games, they are super important for her to understand not only KH in general, but KH3's plot will mean nothing if she have zero knowledge of "Unchained x" and "Union X"

In the Japanese version during the Xigbar fight, his scope is a bit different

@@colinledoux7836 Yes it was. In the original Japanese version it more resembles a traditional sight/scope on a gun. Whereas the Worldwide release had to make it more ambiguous.
Yeah, the sniper crosshair was changed, just like the guns the pirates use in Port Royal in the Japanese version.
