The horn symbol if that is what it was possibly means no horns or making noise so that it doesn’t disturb other people’s enjoyment of the piece.
The hammer which you said that it looks like don’t break the rocks probably wasn’t far off, and probably means no geology/taking fossils as geologists use a geologists hammer to break or crack the rocks to get the fossils out for their collections. Although the geologists want to take the fossils home, if lots of them do it, it would result in lots of broken rocks like scree and the natural environment would be altered.

That is some interesting information to us. We guessed it with the horn symbol but with the hammer we had no idea. That is very curious to learn, thank you:)

How much time is need to do this hiking trail ? We are planing to go with our parents, and I'm sceptical if it is too long that they will not enjoy it.

This was one of the easier trails that we did in Dolomites and if we weren't filming it could take us only 1.5hours probably, but having 2 hours will be nice to enjoy the nature and forest around. It is not physically demanding and can be done with the whole family.

What time of the year did you do this trail? Is September the off season?

We did it in September, the whole Dolomites part and can say that it is the low season already compared to July and August.
