A beautiful piano indeed. I hope we get a new mp12. Mp11se has been out 6 years now and being a second edition of mp11 to keep it relevant for the time, i think it about that time for kawai to think about a real successor

Best studio/stage pianos out there for the price

I like the first composition performed (the left hand passing over the right). Can I know the title, author and where to buy it? Thanks!
PS: Great stage piano, even if too many samples which I won't use much. Put only piano sounds!

Wish you could buy stage pianos with just piano sounds at a cheaper cost of course. No need for organ strings brass synth etc imo as my synth provides that. I just think a grand piano x2/rhodes x2/clav/harpsichord is fine

I couldn’t agree more. For me less about cost and most about added memory space and ram for even nicer samples. I’d pay a lot for that!

@Maafa 1619 that's totally valid. It's just that at some gigs a 70 plus pound keyboard plus laptop plus audio interface etc is a big haul. I'm strongly considering it for an upcoming gig. The new Yamaha CP88 looks promising though. A very nice action with better internal samples than the Kawai. 41 pounds and a few fun easy to access controls (Nord style) like tap delay and more that are enjoyable live. I bought the Piano 4 by Nord recently (And it is the priciest of them all so again cost not main concern) and I find the interface amazing, sounds are sonically filled with character but as you said weak in velocity layers. The worst part though has to be the action which is FAR better than other Nords but still falls short. For me the Kawai action is a bit heavy. I own a German Concert Grand 7 footer with a full renner action and it is ever heavier than that. This is why I'd give so much for a keyboard with an action on par with the best Yamaha (just short of Kawai) but with only piano sounds. Samples that take 5 plus GB of space are likely to compete closer to VST samples or modelling plus the convenience and the reliability. Also keeping under 50 pounds ideally. Lets face it that's still a heavy beast. Cheers.

@@daveorrett5235 I would like to ask a question, if I just want to use the natural sound of the keyboard to output the music I play to the computer (that is, to record the piano lessons, there is too much external noise when using the grand piano), and I am used to playing the grand piano, I need to be able to use the MIDI keyboard input. May I ask whether I should choose Nord piano 4 or Kawai MP11SE?

It looks like a König Meyer 18950 - a very good keyboard stand, IMHO.

Chi Kwan Tai The K&M Omega stand is no good for the MP11se. I've seen it in action with the original MP11 and it wobbled quite a bit sadly. Go for the K&M 18953 or 18950 if you can. I'm using the 18950 for my MP11se and it's very stable

It won't sound that good in your home.
To sound that good, you need:
    Balanced Mains,
    High End studio monitors.
    and Kimber Kable.
All of that will cost as much as you pay
    for the instrument.

Did you receive your MP11SE Cloud Man? Do you notice any issues with F#3 key? I have an MP11 and am considering upgrading to the SE model. Thanks for your reply!

Thanks for the quick reply! Much appreciated. RHIII versus Grand Feel... I will give that some thought. Thanks again and how you changed the settings. Will give those settings a try with my MP11.
