Great play! I think I am going to go with the MP7 SE. 🙂 Of course, both are great instruments so it boils down really to one's budget and subjective opinion.
can't quite afford the mp11se but i think the mp7se would be nice to use in the studio.. cant beat the fact it has a pitch and modwheel and you can control software with it.. best of both worlds
I normally don't comment...but listening to this video on my studio monitors just blew me away. Both sound and playing is unmatched! Love to know how this one was recorded.Subscribed

Die MP´s sind schon allererste Sahne. Gleichwohl wünsch(t)e ich mir ein MP7-Äquivalent mit weniger Tasten (73 oder 76) und maximal 16 Kg - natürlich ohne irgendwelche Einbußen. Ingenieure, an´s Werk!
@@NicolaLarosa btw i recently bought an es-110 and all piano samples on it were terrible except for two of them. On both of those the bass and treble were outstanding (particularly the high notes which had a fantastic resonance) but the mid was bad. I was playing through the on board speakers but i also tried with headphones (which always sounds better no matter the keyboard). I also wasnt that impressed with its feel. Still tho ive never heard any patch as good as the high notes on this piano sample on the es110. Sadly i cant even tell you which one it is because it doesnt tell you. The UI in that regard is pretty bad Im sorta in 2 minds to buy an ES8 or MP11se or just splurge on a nord as i heard they include all sorts of pianos like steinway borsendorfer fazioli roland and the kawais too lol. Ive always played yamaha p series though so yamaha p255 is an option too i guess or maybe something new like dexibell roland or kurzweil maybe. I wish there was a music store near me that stocked them all I was recommended the controller route and mac samples but meh thats just far too much messing around. I just prefer to press the on switch and ve ready to go lol
@@nezkeys79 I wasn't satisfied es110 sound also. Best sounds for me are First and third-Concert Grand and Studio Grand. But I modiefied settings and found bests for me. Factory settings on Es110 are terrible. Too much low and muddy.
I really love the look and sound of the mp11se and had been considering adding it to my collection for a while until I started hearing about the issues with keys sticking even when brand new, has this problem been fixed now? I would be very grateful for a reply, thank you.

Any classical musician that trained at a conservatory was taught to not interfere with the music with facial contortions. Everything you have to say should be put into the instrument, not conveyed via your face. Source: Me. 7 years of higher education, piano performance. There are exceptions but they're rare, for example a Humoresque (short funny, fun piece) but those are really rare. Lang Lang is distasteful to Western pianists because not only is the playing subpar, his gyrations are so distracting to the music.

Trained musicians who just regurgitate what they see on paper. They have no improvisational skills whatsoever. Put a trained conservatory pianist at a piano and tell them to compose a piece and he'd look at you dumbfounded as if you were nuts
Kawai, please next time don't make the design with a forehead. Make the design FLAT. It would be easier to put in a case and make the hands way from the keybed to the buttons and controllers easier to move when playing.

Amir Amran I believe the forehead is where the hammer action mechanisms go (?). I mean, that’s why this things are so heavy.
The MP 11 weighs 34 kgs. Who will take such a monster for gigs ? People prefer the Kawai, but most of the professionnal players take a Roland or any lighter keyboard on the road. For a home use, piano work, composing or arranging with a computer, the forehead is not really a problem.

Very nice demo, always comes back to piano sounds which is this board's strength. Use it to control a high quality synth and tough to beat live.

Dear Alex, The MP11SE is used by many professional musicians. One of many reasons is the reliability. Don't worry.

The MP11SE has only one headphone jack, but you can easily use a cable adapter to connect 2 headphones to one jack.
