I've got high blood pressure, pre Diabetic.. going through alot of stress my Dad not well with panteratic cancer recently my 1 Dog had to be put to sleep suddenly fell very poorly.. just finding it so hard to get my head on me ... but I really need to look after me too.. but you are looking great keep up the good weight loss
Great that u are back. I joined SW 6 years ago & lost 5.5 stone. Put back on 3 I had a bereavement so I’m back 8 pounds off in 2 weeks & I will get back to where I was 😁
Good to see you back Patrick. You can do this, keep focussed, we’ll all support you. I lost 6.5 stone on SW, put 2 stone back in with lockdown and losing my Mum. I’m back on it, I just need to keep consistent for those lbs to come off and find my willpower again 👍

Delighted to see you back. I'm in the same boat as you, having reached target and being there for a while, but going off track after some upheavals, then saying I'll lose the weight again, but not yet. I'm back at SW now, getting the group support, but I always find that your videos always give me an extra boost when I'm starting to flag. I really enjoy you honesty and openness because you reflect what we are all thinking and struggling with. Don't put yourself under too much pressure to have new content each week, we just love the chats and any hauls etc are a bonus

Lovely to see you back-like you, I regained all my last losses with SW and some extra but so far 1.5 stone in and got my club 10 too and a gold body magic award. We can and will do this! I loved your hauls and also would like to know how you keep body magic fresh and incorporate more in as I think this is a key element for my losses
I definitely agree with you that mental health does come with weight loss I am on slimming world but I am struggling at the minute I know what I need to be doing but just can’t seem to put them into practice I think in my mind that I have so much weight to lose that it seems so unachievable that I think in my head what’s the point because I will never get there but I just have to try XX

Hi Patrick. I joined slimming world for the first time mid-January this year and so far have lost 2 stone and 11.5 pound. Hoping to maybe get to the 3 stone mark next Saturday. 1 stone 11 pound left to go, or possibly slightly more if I move my target - will see how I feel when I get there. I mainly enjoy watching people's progress each week, but top tips etc are also helpful. About a week ago I watched a couple of your videos and found them very helpful, so even though I noticed you hadn't posted in quite a while I hit subscribe just in case you came back... Great to see you back. I love your haul videos. Since having covid 2x I've lost my mojo and enthusiasm for exercise... and just been eating junk to combat fatigue. I did sw from home before successfully, never had the confidence to go to group. At last, my head is in the right space again... may be Easter or because my summer clothes don't fit... or just because I'm fed up with looking big. Here's to another go, like you, looking forward to hearing from you each week 😀

It's been a strange world for us all but recently I have found my mojo again after gaining 5stone 8lbs. like you I was a target member and If I'm entirely honest I look at me now and see myself as too slim back then so I am hoping to loose 3 stone and drop maybe 2 dress sizes if possible. I am in a happier healthier mental state and have really enjoyed walking 4 to 6 miles 3 times a week now, this was something I avoided (fitness) last time, and as you mentioned it is helping my mindfulness and keeping me positive. You ask what videos we would like, hauls, cooking and just your hints tips etc really are helpful! look forward to seeing you next week , enjoy your week ahead x

Has been rocky start for me been struggling to get head round things but after 1/2lb losses and then gains (because bad weeks and mindsets) I had an amazing 5lb loss last week.(couldn't believe it!) Keeping everything crossed for Saturday and hoping another loss. I didn't choose to join slimming world, I've been following the NHS app so far on calories but it's stopped working after 7 weeks and keeps locking. I'm not sure what is best to do now. Just stick checking ackaging and calories online and noting self or take plunge and pay out for a package. But which one?? It's so lively to hear from you and having your support again, I'm so please you've found something that works well for you aswell! Keep smiling and thanks again for the vlogs x
Hey, I'm a fairly new subscriber but despite that I've been really wanting to see more videos from you lol. My Weight loss journey has been going great. I first did SW 2018 - 2019 with mum but stopped because we thought we were a good weight and we didn't need to pay out money just to weigh in (I wasn't staying for group which was a big mistake for me). So we stopped but then the pandemic hit and we started to revert into our old ways with old mindsets. I got heavily addicted to sugar again and I put all the weight back on. Fast forward to last year in September I was not far off 13st, the heaviest I've ever been, and I thought, "I will not allow myself to reach 13st". I rejoined SW and mum did too and we never looked back since. I was 12st 10lbs and I'm now 9st 11lbs, 1 lbs from my 3st goal which I'm thrilled about. My aim is to get to 9st 7lbs. About a month or so ago I was even awarded slimmer of the year! it's a great time for me and I'm even cooking a whole load of food for myself and everyone around me, all geared towards making them low syn. People especially love my 1 and 2 syn brownie recipes (the 2 syn recipe is a hot cross brownie). That was a big hit last Thursday when I made a batch and brought it into group).

I gave up SW with the start of zoom meetings, tried to do online but it wasn’t for me. With all my weight back on and a knee replacement later I went and rejoined my old group on Monday evening! I look forward to catching up on your videos.

I dont know about you, but as a new newbie (Im starting in a couple of weeks) I know this time round that I dont need to just focus on getting to target as quickly as possible but to actually just focus on making lasting changes :P I love a haul video, Im going to be doing weekly diaries series :)
I did the same as you , got to my target and then changed it a couple of times , lost 6 stone I total , at the 6 stone target I think I had gone a bit too far , due to a new job where I am sat down all day 2 stone has just flown back on and won’t shift , I literally still eat the same foods I did when I was losing and maintaining but I think my body has got a bit too comfortable with these and I struggle to get motivated for exercise at the moment - I think the lockdown etc wasn’t good for my mental health, I’d like to shift a stone and a half of the 2 stone I’ve put back, even though I’m still 4 stone lost I don’t feel right, how do you get motivated to go back to group ? Hi Patrick, Its nice to hear your weight loss journey, along with everyone in the comments, its very encouraging! June 2021 I was 28.11 stone(highest I've ever been), currently weigh 22.9 stone, have lost 6.2 stone so far. My goal is to be at 18 stone, but will start with 20 stone. I also joined Slimming World in September last year and have been there ever since, although last week suffered some health problems, so eager to get back to good health and be back on track. Do you have tips/advice for reducing stretch marks? When you lost so much, did it reduce naturally? And how often would you buy new clothes when you was losing significant weight? As at times, I keep holding back from buying new pair's of clothes, thinking it'll be baggy months down the line.

Hi Patrick, I am a newbie to your channel. Found you via Instagram👍 Looking forward to following you on your journey. I joined my local SW group 8 weeks ago. Have lost so far 16.5lbs! My initial goal is to lose 28lbs but will probably increase that when I hit that target, if I feel it’s right for me. Don’t want to get super obsessed with the number. I think exercise plays a great part as the endorphins give you that happy boost 😃 I’ve done SW before probably about 5 different times over 25 years plus every other diet in-between. Yes definitely a yo-yo dieter. Always great at losing weight ready for weddings/holidays etc, but then only to regain it all. Obviously the last two years have been hard for all and many waistlines have suffered. Also mental health at an all time low. I lost my dad during this time so my health took a toll. Something has clicked with me this time, firstly amazing an inspiring consultant/group and also post lock down realisation of “I want permanent weight loss/health”. So I know now that I have committed this time/day of week for me and will continue to go to group during weight loss and in the future as a target member. I think when you’ve been successful and then it goes back on it’s easy to beat yourself up about it, but that was that and in your past. Now and going forward is what to think about. Definitely agree that we all think we will suddenly be the happiest person when we reach goal, but that’s definitely something to work on too! Well done on a good start👏 x

I dont know about you, but as a new newbie (Im starting in a couple of weeks) I know this time round that I dont need to just focus on getting to target as quickly as possible but to actually just focus on making lasting changes :P I love a haul video, Im going to be doing weekly diaries series :)

I did the same as you , got to my target and then changed it a couple of times , lost 6 stone I total , at the 6 stone target I think I had gone a bit too far , due to a new job where I am sat down all day 2 stone has just flown back on and won’t shift , I literally still eat the same foods I did when I was losing and maintaining but I think my body has got a bit too comfortable with these and I struggle to get motivated for exercise at the moment - I think the lockdown etc wasn’t good for my mental health, I’d like to shift a stone and a half of the 2 stone I’ve put back, even though I’m still 4 stone lost I don’t feel right, how do you get motivated to go back to group ? Love your videos , thanks for doing them

Hi Patrick, Its nice to hear your weight loss journey, along with everyone in the comments, its very encouraging! June 2021 I was 28.11 stone(highest I've ever been), currently weigh 22.9 stone, have lost 6.2 stone so far. My goal is to be at 18 stone, but will start with 20 stone. I also joined Slimming World in September last year and have been there ever since, although last week suffered some health problems, so eager to get back to good health and be back on track. Do you have tips/advice for reducing stretch marks? When you lost so much, did it reduce naturally? And how often would you buy new clothes when you was losing significant weight? As at times, I keep holding back from buying new pair's of clothes, thinking it'll be baggy months down the line.

I lost 4 stone in Slimming World in 12 months got close to my goal weight then my life took a turn and I had to get a job involving shift work. Then I turned to food the wrong food lol for comfort. I need motivation to get back on it 🤔
Put all the weight I lost back on plus a bit more 🤔
These things happen, you've done it before and you'll do it again. The hard part is over now it's time to remember what you've learnt

Hi Patrick, I am a newbie to your channel. Found you via Instagram👍 Looking forward to following you on your journey. I joined my local SW group 8 weeks ago. Have lost so far 16.5lbs! My initial goal is to lose 28lbs but will probably increase that when I hit that target, if I feel it’s right for me. Don’t want to get super obsessed with the number. I think exercise plays a great part as the endorphins give you that happy boost 😃
I’ve done SW before probably about 5 different times over 25 years plus every other diet in-between. Yes definitely a yo-yo dieter. Always great at losing weight ready for weddings/holidays etc, but then only to regain it all. Obviously the last two years have been hard for all and many waistlines have suffered. Also mental health at an all time low. I lost my dad during this time so my health took a toll.
Something has clicked with me this time, firstly amazing an inspiring consultant/group and also post lock down realisation of “I want permanent weight loss/health”. So I know now that I have committed this time/day of week for me and will continue to go to group during weight loss and in the future as a target member. I think when you’ve been successful and then it goes back on it’s easy to beat yourself up about it, but that was that and in your past. Now and going forward is what to think about. Definitely agree that we all think we will suddenly be the happiest person when we reach goal, but that’s definitely something to work on too! Well done on a good start👏 x
