Making a 90's Icon: The Magic Wallet
The Magic Wallet was all the rage in the 1990's - a vintage inspired wallet design that magically strapped in your dollar bills. All you had to do was toss them into the wallet, close it up, and upon opening it they were secured! This is how that wallet design mechanism works, and how to assemble it to make your own magic wallet.
Would be easy to add a bonus of magnetic closure on the corners to modernize it a little.

I get it, but it still hurts my brain. I have to try this. You did an amazing job showing how to do it and made it look easy. I think card pockets on the outside would help stiffen it once it’s filled.
Kinda miss the cardboard sponsor plug though. 😂
Something thicker with four total card slots that are opposed alignment would give it some heft and sturdiness. Be good for those folks that still carry receipts and sticky notes as well as cash. Cowboy style for unfolded cash would be an entertaining build. Pockets and magnets oh my.

Yes the color of the kislux is beautiful and it is a great decision, maybe one day they will add feet and straps. It would be nice to have a bigger bag during the colder months when we have to store gloves, beanies, scarves, etc…

what stiffener do you use? looks like a polyputhekettleon something. Every time I've asked for something I'm handed treated paper.

I've yet to use stiffeners so I wouldn't be able to tell you what they make it out of, but its $17.50 USD for 20"x40"
