Some people will always have empty criticisms. It makes their day to find something to complain about. The heat from your fire is good enough. Not being a germaphobe builds your immune system. 💪🏽 All the wieners I’ve roasted with no stainless steel roasting fork, and water straight from the water hose. 😂 Just purchased the fire pit for my next trip. I’m sold! #KeepLivingYourTruth #Outdoors #ThanksForSharing
Yes ma’am! ❤️❤️❤️ water from a garden hose always tasted the best to me! Thank you so much for your kind words! I always love when you comment! Have fun on your next trip and let me know how you like that fire pit!
10:39 that’s a tinder bundle that I need to try Pineneedles and birch bark I did dryer lint with char cloth, and I did a regular Birdsnest that was dried out
Sterilizing the branches might burn off bacteria or some bug that's burrowed in the wood... I haven't had problems before. Wood gives additional flavor for sure
What a great video! The tent kit is super nice. Looked like an easy setup too. Eggs, grits, and coffee for breakfast... can't go wrong! Thanks for making these great episodes!
It was definitely a great tent with a super easy set up! Outside of the few people, we had an amazing trip! Thank you so much for coming along and commenting! It really means so much! Really appreciate you!
I just finished watching your video and as always I enjoy watching you and sweet Fiona! That was kind of bad when those guys walked up on you. Not good. But glad they left and you and Fiona got to have a good camping time. Not to be personal but, does your wife ever go camping with you. Hope I didn't say anything to upset you. I do enjoy your video's and love the way you treat Fiona.❤❤❤
Hi Miss Margie! I always love when you comment! Yeah, I was pretty displeased having folks walk in on us like that but glad they were willing to leave. Otherwise we had an awesome trip. No ma’am, not upset at all. My lovely bride will, on very rare occasions, come with us but with the internet, not always, being a kind place, she’s requested to always stay off camera. She does, however do a ton of the back end work to make these videos happen…and keeping Fiona in bandannas and outfits lol! Thank you so much for watching and commenting! It always makes our day.
Im reading the comments as I watch and after much to do about a group of rude hunters, I'm already grinding my teeth. I ain't looking foward to that part. Edit: Oh... glad you didn't show the rude one's. I was tense, telling myself not to get angry and then you didn't show them. Worked out well, at least for me, sorry you had to deal with that though. Im truly glad I wasn't there for that.
As a hunter myself, I completely understand having favorite spots but I couldn’t believe they had the audacity to ask me to move and weren’t even nice about it.
Had the same issue this weekend camping on my land, Two hunters walked into my camp saying i was on his family land i told the guy well that is funny this is my land that you are on after thay his face dropped looked than asked if he could hunt on it lmao 🤣 of course i told him no.
In the state, I live in when it involves dispersed camping in state park land The general rule of thumb is first come first serve. At least as far as state law is concerned. So what I don't understand is why did they want you to move? Was it so they could set up their own camp. Or did they just want to set up targets and shoot, crossbows? 🫤
It’s first come, first serve here as well. They wanted me to leave because they had scouted land to hunt behind the camp site, clearly not thinking that anyone else might get there before them. They ended up agreeing to hunt elsewhere or at least go well around where I was. Thank you for watching!
I’m not surprised the hunters left , who’d want to mess with old southern pine in the middle of nowhere 💪🏻😆
Hahaha thank you, brother! I sure appreciate you watching and the laugh!
I love the look on your face after you told them that you weren’t moving.
I couldn’t believe he asked me to! Thank you so much for watching, brother! Appreciate you!
@oldsouthernpine yup, glad you stood your ground!

Great video! Sucks that people are so rude!

Great video! It makes me want to make some coffee over the fire right now! But alas, I’m working. 😢😂
Hahaha that’s definitely rough! Thank you so much for watching, brother!

It was my first time trying it and I really liked it. A bit more finesse than I’m used to but I’m hooked!

Fair point! Thank you for the tip. Technically, bugs give extra flavor too. Lol! Definitely appreciate you watching, my friend!

9:55 I was just up to Lake of Dreams Campground, practicing up on my fire starting skills

@oldsouthernpine No, I absolutely agree with you, there is no call for rudeness. Peeiod
Amen to that, brother!
@oldsouthernpine I meant to spell "period," but apparently my typing finger had a dyslexic moment. 🙄 Lol
Haha no worries, I speak “autocorrect” fluently! lol
