My favorite part from this opening is the close up of Deku's face as he is swinging through the buildings. The breadth of emotion I see there is amazing; tired, somber, but still with a quiet determination and empathy. On the other hand for the purple haired woman, while her face looks similar, the emotions I see written on it are slightly different. I see hints of tiredness and sadness, but with undertones of a sort of cold and calculating cynicism.
I feel like the moment when Deku turns away infront of All Might that rain drop on his face also symbolizes how broken and sadden he is about the situation

I don't know how people never understood hoe the full gauntlet worked lol, melissa said they could withstand 3 times the strenght of all might before breaking, so, not 3 punches, something 3 times stronger than all might, and deku broke that gautlet when he was all excited about fighting alongside his hero, he probably wasn't controlling one for all very well in his excitement

i think a really fucking obvious clue is that the metal mask on his new suit is once again to represent all might's smile, however, this time its intentionally made to give the feeling of a villain laughing manaically

About the Spoiler Part I definitely think we're getting the Stars and Stripes arc/fight because of the way MHA has been set up anime wise ever since season two. They seem to do 2 big arcs and 1 smaller arc every season. Season two: Sports Festival & Stain (Big) Teacher vs Students (Small) Season three: Training camp & Provisional License (Big) Big Three (Small) Season four: Overhaul & Festival/Gentle (Big) Endeavor becoming #1 (Small) Season five: Joint Training & My Villain Academia (Big) Endeavor Internship (Small) Season six: War & Vigilante (Big) Stars and Stripes (Small) The Stars and Stripes fight wasn't that long and as of right now the anime is only 18 episodes in and they've been averaging 25-27 episodes for most season
Imo its not the best opening. It has some flaws overall. The animation is at the same level as the other openings, the song isn’t the best too and it doesnt give early mha vibes nor dark mha. The ideas and creativity are what make this opening but some shots in the beggining are long or repetitive for ex with uraraka or nagant which both have 2 scenes. The transitions aren’t as good as the other openings and idk if you can even call them transitions, they didnt even bother making ones for some cuts. Also they couldve put alot more characters than just class 1-a, shigaraki and nagant. The overall vibe they went for is consistent and looks good in the op but in contrast to for example op 4, they didnt went in depth to create as much symbolic scenes and hype moments that it had. Overall still a very good opening but not the best either, i have it at my fourth best between polaris, peace sign and odd future.
Mild spoileres: Knowing the anime, they'll probably switch out the rainy weather of the confrontation scene with that happy go lucky blue sky, and oversaturated lighting with colors so vibrant that the Teletubbies will cringe. Sorry, I just really hate the lighting in the show. However this opening is awesome and has the correct mood.
