I implemented the same tips last year. I give me self a weekly spend on fun, food and discretionary spending, and left overs go back into the offset every Thursday. It's made a massive difference. The other one is uisng a credit card to pay for everything and then pay it off each month. I keep a lot more money in the offset.i never pay interest on the credit card and im lucky enough to also get points for my spending. Absolutely a game changer. Much more surplus is kept. Much less stress and seeing the mortgage balance reduce has gamified it.
