Thank you African Tee. Soweto was never a slum. I grew up in Soweto and I am very proud because it is a testament of our resilience like when the universe gives you lemons make lemonade. I feel very strongly about Soweto being calked a slum. Yes it was built fir African people and the houses and yards were small compared to those in white areas but we took very good care of our surroundings as I know you could see the difference between the CBD and Soweto. Most residents in tge CBD are non South Africans and it's a fact but people go to the CBD and see all the mess happening there and judge us black South Africans by that so I'm glad you showcased how we live. Soweto streets are safer than CBD coz we are a community and our children can still play freely on the streets
