I feel grateful for being live in Indonesia. Because in Indonesia the school is so fast. But we go to school very-very early, at 06:30 am. Haha, but I hope I can go to school sometime in Japan :D
when i was a highschool student in indonesia, school starts at 6:55 - 14:35 from monday - sat (7:00-9:35 after this we go to our clubs) In the first year we had english, math, indonesia literature, mandarin/chinese, biology, chemistry, physics, geography, social study, economy, sosiology, p.e, history, religion study, accounting, IT/computer literature, art n craft, business english. And before we entered 2nd year in high school we should choose either science dept or social dept. And only students with great score can attend the science dept, the rest are gone to the social dept. We also had clubs and extracurricular. Clubs every Saturday and extracurricular everyday depends on the schedule.
In India our school timings were from 8:30am to 3:00pm .We had english ,hindi ,biology, physics, chemistry, history, geography, political science,maths,economics, computer ,general knowledge, physical education and hobby classes
Woah class starting at 8:40 is HEAVEN for us. My class starts at 7:00 and ends at 16:00 or 17:00. But we dont have a lot of subjects. Like this semester has only 7 subjects (Practical Research 1 (1 hr), Reading and Writing (1 hr), Filipino (1 hr), Statistics and Probability (1 hr), PE (1 hr), Understanding Culture, Society, and Politics (1 hr) and my major which is Carpentry (3 hrs)) You dont have all subjects in a day tho. They are distributed throughout the week. But the good thing tho is that we have a one hour break each day (not including lunch). Im 17 and in 11th Grade.
I am a foreigner studying in Junior high school 1st grade... Since m a gaikujin (a foreigner) some seniors tried to bully me at early days n It was so hard to control your anger once I just beat up a senior from 3rd year during recess period n the whole school was like "oh musa is strong lmao" many people left talking but idk why the girls started talking to me but in like a few months they all became friendly again n since that day nobody tried to bully me lol
WHOS 16 HERE👧✋ Im frm Singapore and we start sch usually @7:55 but need to be in sch by 7:25? and then we end usually 2:30 without like yknow club but we call it CCA here and usually end 6+ it usually depends on whay cca u chose.and also the older u are the more extra classes u have everyday and if u have coursework (like me ):) u will have to stay back longer):

WoW 😱 so there rule for hair style in japanese high school also !!! 😐 I have very terrible experience about hair regulation in my high school 😂 i have tried to escaping the hair inspection but the teacher found me, so i run into toilet and lock the door from inside 😐 i looked into small tube and that teacher still there and screaming out "hey, just go out you can not stay there forever" 😂 so i jump to the ventilation then climbed to ceiling and went out then some teacher broke the door and i hear one of them said "i am sure, he was here". After that i went to my class and took my bag then i skip the school. So next day i came with new hair style ✌️
You’re right Brian, no learning takes place (in my school that is cause the teachers don’t teach 😩😪) I moved from a filipino school to an International School with a British curriculum and I miss the longer school hours when I actually enjoyed staying at school and learned so much more but now in my new school they expect us to learn everything by ourselves at home to the point that they banned textbooks to he brought to school 😕💀
is it not common for other people in the US to get homework over breaks? this summer i had to do math, chemistry, art, and english. plus i've had to write an essay both this summer and last summer. i usually get homework over other vacations too @_@

Like.. sport , unit uniform (kinda like occupation.. like police unit uniform or cadet unit uniform *sure you hv to wear that uniform) and last "club" it's like society type idk how to explain tbh. And the club are also depends on something as long as there are 13 meeting for each type of club total.

We do not have Club Activities in the Czech Republic, and basically there is not even a High School. The beginning of school differs from school to school - 6:50, 7:15, 8:00, 8:50, 9:35 and ends roughly at 13:35, 14:25, 15:45, it's different. Our "High School" is engaged in a deliberate theme such as: Electrotechnics, Geodesy, Mechatronics, Translators, etc. But we have the opportunity to learn as a car mechanic etc. - then we have a school week and a week practice. We can leave the campus wherever we want. For every subject in the school we have special room and a other teacher. And we dont have homeworks :D
In saudi arabia we study six years of elementary school 3 years of middle school and 3 years of high school. school starts at 7.am and ends at 1:30 and sometimes 2:30. and we do wear school uniforms. we have a teacher for each subject and unless if we are using the laboratory then we study mostly in same classroom. and just like in Japan we're not allowed to put make up on and if your hair is long then you will have to tie it and you can only wear the colors brown, black and white because they're trying to teach us that our first priority is how well we do in school not how cool we look in school. also students should have major respect for teachers. and we start studying english from the sixth grade till the senior year of high school. and we have homework every day and by the end of the semester we have to make a project for each subject. i have never seen somone getting bullyed before heared that rules in private schools are alittle bit diffrent but I'm not sure cause i never been to a private school before cause i dont know anyone who can afford it. grades are important for all the Saudi universities. oh and we barely have any club activities. i just thought that it would be fun to share some information about our schools.

In Turkey, high schools mostly start at 8:00 am and it ends 2:30 pm. I went to vocational high school which is has more lessons than other high schools that's why it ended at 4:30 pm.

That's interesting. In my school (USA, GA) school starts at 8:20 and it is over at 3:30. By the way there is typically only 4 classes per student. However, for me it's different because I have minimum day and an online class. So, I start school at 8:20 and I leave at 11:40.

Monday：7：45am to 3：45pm Tuesday ：7：45am to 3：45pm Wednesday ：7：45am to 3：15pm Thursday ：7：45 am to 3：15pm Friday ：7：45am to 12：15pm （It ended early because Muslim have Friday Prayer）But because I am Chinese I need to continue until 1：30pm for Chinese class. *If I have tuition class or club activities in school ,it will ended 5 pm *

I live in America and I had homework over breaks in high school. even over the summer, but I went to private school so maybe that makes the difference
