- Acclaimed author Min Jin Lee was honored at the KACF 2019 Annual Gala. She delivered an inspirational speech about what being a Korean American means to her and a visit to one of KACF grantee partners, CIDA.
I can’t stop crying..., I’m Korean American in my 60. I appreciate and value your work.
Thank you for being you..., so genuine so true.
You give us inspiration to be better human.
Thank you 🙏
to me;{ we appreciate your time and effort today to interview with us. We do plan to move forward with other qualified RNs for this and other positions and will no longer be considering your candidacy, Again, thanks so much.} I instinctively thought about reply and could notice that there was no specific reason describe and no politeness. I am all of time of my life to dedicated in the hospital and currently work in agent for the same position. THEN .I starts to keep thinking of what is this and happen to me, and learned that from Professor Min Jin Lee. Min jin Lee stood up now because the peoples around in this USA in very special people and certain level of peoples are do not know nothing about who Asians are and they do not have knowledges about who Asians are, and sure they must to be learned about what are Asians' cultures where mention that what is a basic IMPORTANT concept for living in community at least it is needed to be known a respect.................................................
I COULD KEEP THINKING OF THESE AMPTY and no MEANINGFUL SENTENCE...... THEN I WOULD LOVE TO PUT HERE TO BE KNOWN TO EVERYONE. I've been living IN U.S.A. over 30 yrs with been worked inside acute care at medical field 25 yrs where my daily working place is highest stressful fast path area, and I dedicated all of my life. I am proud of to learn about how important of a community services include of specially homeless people, young boys has gun shot, alcoholism diagnosis by many immigrants, and wound care patients. Now I has currently experience is home health care which assigned by daily basis visit clients home. I interviewed exactly same level of position in the same specialized job in this company, then they just reject me. By what is reason for? To be honestly I could say and acknowledged that Because of my accent different from them? It makes them feel [emotional way] uncomfortable or they pick up seems like a broken word from me if it there---all of the way of talk within it was to feel uncomfortable[emotionally] to them? UNCOMFORTABILITY is nothing affect to work. I would love to open this toward to public. Is this a racisms and discriminations from them ,isn't it?. The Pro Lee is right to say that and I am over 100 % comprehensible of the way of her thought. They are seeking the perfect person as like a machinery worker or work like a Robot for their company. Instead of that I am a human being with possessed a powerful knowledges and Heroic, Romantic, and more. Thanks
I am a Korean who live in Japan, I bought a book Pachinko on Amazon accidentally, and I started searching for Minjin Lee on RUclips. now I am big fan of her. she always makes me laugh and cry at the same time.

Of course most people who read your book are those who can understand English. Only little in percentage Koreans understand English. Pachinko is a good movie and the story itself.
Tak rozczulacie sie nad Soba 🤔🤫spróbujcie naszego losu 🤔🙏
Hm!
The book was good.
