Hello everybody! After no less than a months, I'm finally done with this series! It took me a while because I'm addicted to Phasmophobia (whoops) and I get distracted a lot, but oh well, WHEN LIFE GIVES YOU LEMONS. I had a lot of fun redesigning some of my favorite characters of all time, MAYBE if I have time, I'll redesign Celestia (again) and Luna, but no promises! My personal favorites are Rainbow, Fluttershy and Pinkie, though I'm happy with how all of them look! I hope you guys like them as much as I do, please let me know your thoughts in the comments! *Theory Time :)*
So every character drawn here is a reincarnation of the original Mane 6. Each of them have scars from the original’s death. For example, The Reincarnation of AJ has scars on their back, resembling the scars that the Original AJ would have had if she survived her death. And for Fluttershy’s Reincarnation, she has scars from where she was mauled. Each of the 6 Don’t remember anything about their past lives. And their races of pony changes between lives. Pinkie’s Reincarnation would most likely have scars on her neck and so on. Theory Time over, thank you for coming to my TED Talk.

Most people give pinkie wings in her new designs cuz she was originally meant to have wings and Flutters was meant to be an earth pony put they swapped them over

I like how the earth ponies are the only ones without any accessories and the unicorns don't have any scars (likely from being sheltered/upper class or in Umbra's case a scholar) it's an interesting detail. I wonder if now there would be a bigger social divide between them and if that would in fact mean anything for the lessons in friendship aspects of the "show". Maybe by gaining popularity the earth ponies would bring attention to the fact they suffer more physical dangers not unlike pegasi who also do physical labor but mention how they also have less wealth to boot...or maybe I'm just projecting racial issues onto redesigns of a colorful magical horse girl cartoon show. Beautiful art as always Blitz

About the unicorns not having any scars, what about Tempest? She has her scar over her eye and a broken horn. Ik its's bc she went to fetch a ball her friends lost in an ursa major/minor cave and got slashed by an ursa minor cuz her and her friends were playing in the woods and not being careful of their surroundings and making sure they didn't get lost or in a dangerous situation. But anyways, Idk why but I just love her design, personality, backstory, and just generally everything about her. Sorry for the rant, I just wanted to point out that Tempest exists and it sorta breaks this a little. But even so, ig the fact that they were even playing a game of fetch or smth shows that the unicorns still do some physical stuff, even if its only playing a game, right?
I love the cutie marks, the colours, the songs. I just love everything about these designs you are truly amazing blits!

Aboard the Covenant Express they ride; unknown is their destination. The battered old “Iron Stallion” rattled on weary wheels across Equestria, its dirty and rust-speckled boiler ruddy in the sun. Smoke billowed through a funnel whose top was cracked. Windowpanes in the cab were greasy to the touch and covered in grime. The controls inside were old, loose, and in desperate need of replacement. But despite its many problems, the engine puffed on, unbothered by the burdens of its equipment, immune to the strain of its couplings.

In the back story of Sombra it shows Sombra's daughter the Unicorn's representative/princess looks a lot like Rarity. One theory is the princess in the story is Rarity's past life. So it could be possible.

I've never seen one episode of this show and yet I'm absolutely addicted to your speedpaints. Also, I absolutely LOVE your Twilight redesign. I'm a huge fan of dark blues/purples and stars and constellations, so it really appeals to me. I really like the others too. The subtle rainbows on Rainbow Dash, the nice more neutral colors on Fluttershy and Applejack, and I love the hair(? fur? the long stuff, I'm having a brain fart on the word if there is one) on Rarity and Pinkie. It's mesmerizing to watch you draw those. I love the overall less-saturated colors on all of them too.

In my opinion, Fluttershy's re-design is the best, or at least my favourite, it's so pleasing to look at and I just love it!
They're all amazing! But my #1 favorite would have to be Rainbow's redesign. Her more masculine personality is demonstrated well in here, your design gives her a very tomboyish feeling. My honorable mentions would have to be Rarity, Fluttershy and Applejack's design. Rarity looks excellent and confident, AJ's design is lovely! The colors look great together. Plus she looks more like a workhorse, and Fluttershy is.. well she's goregous! I love the backstory behind her cutie mark, and she really looks shy and just very sweet, but yeah, those are my favorites! Great job on them all.

Can't even *imagine* how you found these songs, but you KILLED their playlists! Loved how Rarity's said "make a wish...but you can't afford my outfit" that was perfect. The characters look stellar, exotic music, poses and facial expressions were distinctly *them* as far as their personalities go. Love how you didn't stay strictly to their original colorations. I love how Rainbow Dash has a black mane/tail with an iridescent sheen, and Twilight Sparkle has a galaxy look going on.

I am in love with new Fluttershy's design! those colors! and for first i thought her cutie mark doesn't suit her personality, but then i realised there is a paw with wounds coming from claws!!! :O I LOVE THAT IDEA

My top 3 favorites
1. Rainbow dash - she puts off more lesbian vibes with her look, and I'm here for it.
2. Rarity - her eyes have a mystic and seductive look to them, & i love it!!
3. pinky Pie- her mane is big and poofy and the fact that its in a ponytail is the cutest thing ever!!!
My personal thoughts on each redesign.
Twilight- I really love the colors on her redesign. It reminds me of the night sky. An all-round great looking character.
Rainbow Dash- I feel like if the original Rainbow saw this redesign, she would give it the "awesomeness" stamp of approval. It reminds me of her personality, which is a good thing. The look of the redesign is something new, while paying respect to the old character.
Rarity- not my favorite redesign, personally. I'm just not a huge fan of the redesign's colors, I find them a bit bland. The streaks in her hair are a great touch, though, and I love the elegance of this look. Again, reminds me of the original character. Overall, I find this one a bit bland, but also elegant.
Flutteshy- probably my favorite of all the redesigns. I love that you made her an earth pony. It just suits her character, in my opinion, as she's the most connected to nature out of the Mane 6. I also just adore her aesthetic. The rose in her hair was a great addition. I'd probably make her hair a bit darker, more brownish, but that's a but if a nitpick.
Applejack- my least favorite aesthetically. I'm just not feeling that orange hair against her brown coat. However, this redesign really captures the strength of the original Applejack. I find myself saying these work really well off the original characters a lot, but I find that especially true for Applejack's redesign. For this one, I can really feel traits of the original character through the drawing alone while still bringing something new to the character. I might not be a huge fan of the redesign itself, but it really suits the redesign.
Pinkie Pie- a redesign that is an absolute treat to look at. My favorite character visually. She looks like if Candy Land was made into a pony. However, instead of really feeling like a redesign, it more feels like an upgrade of the original character. Yeah, the others have their similarities to their original counterparts, but the redesign of Pinkie Pie doesn't feel as fresh as the others. She feels like the same pony, but powered up instead of someone new. The biggest difference between the original and the redesign is the pair of wings on the redesign. This is a nice addition. It suits the original Pinkie Pie's free spirited, but chaotic character.
Overall, the thing I liked the most about all these redesigns is how well the original characters were translated into their redesigns. It's a nice way to pay respects to their originals. Even the characters I didn't like as much showed traits of their original character through pose, facial expression, or, of course, in design. Very nice work on each and every one of these characters.
yes, i do agree with u on pinkie. she kind of just took the normal pinkie and put little strands of blue and yellow in her hair, gave her little pink leggings, and wings. nothing really changed besides her having wings.
Bro rarity’s redesign looks way different than the original
I wasn't expecting so much cuteness today! A few things I like:
RD's reflective "oil slick" mane and tail. 20% Cooler. (she also looks like she's wiped out a time or twelve!)
Fluttershy. Just Fluttershy. I'm of the Discord school of Flutters Appreciation: she's best floof.
Your Pinkie reminds me of Surprise... and I love the hair colors!
pinkie looks like a mix between her original self, and surprise, the pony she was based off of from a prevous mlp generation and i love it!

My little Pony - Friendship is Magically Powerful.
Starkle Comet: She always likes to watch meteor showers all the time with her purple telescope covered with galactic stars, she reads star-related books of all the planets that she would like to vist.
Rainbow Grim: As a gothic pegasus flying across the sky you'd never see her coming in a speed of dark and doom, her mane is something that you fear almost.
Tiara Flash: The only thing that suits her a lot is cleaning up every single tiara and crown all the time hence the name, and nothing compares her to anypony else in Equestria.
Petal Paw: Nearly injured by scary animals and bandaged a few days ago, she befriends with the animals that live in her cottage/garden she's a pretty good swimmer who happens to always be in 1st place in every swimming competition.
Horseshoe Hay: This pony loves barrels and throwing horseshoes all the time she's obsessed with the things she loves, but she also has a little brother.
Balloon Twirl: Happy to fly in the skys all every day and night, she always exercises while she's at Wonderbolt practice she has an inspiring poetry talent that everypony wants to see.

I would of called aj: Apple Spice or Cinnamon cuz of her collours, rarity: Crystal because of her eyes, Flutters: Blossom because of her cutieark and colour, Rainbow: Speck cuz her hooves and her wings 😂 and pinkie Cotton cuz her hair looks like cotton candy :3 I love your ideas tho

1. Twilight’s redesign
I’m just so blown away by the star pattern on her body and the short hair, I feel like she looks like a mlp design that I would make, I love the starry aesthetic
2. Fluttershy’s redesign
I also really love this one because of the color pallette and the slight markings on her. It’s just makes her look so calming. The only reason why she’s at the second and not first is because I didn’t really like the brown ombré in her hair, It makes it look a bit desaturated and I usually like more bright colors.
3. Applejack’s redesign
I just love how natural she looks! The browns and white makes her really look like a real horse. The orange hair adds a nice contrast to the dark brown.

The Mane 6's G5 designs are absolutely amazing and phenomenal!!!
After years, they were reincarnated, together once again. Each have faint scars of their past lives. They remember each other and have been on the search for one another for years on end, finally being reunited as friends. Their home fell to ruins and they search for a new home.
I love how rainbow has black in her hair and the little rainbow detail in her wings.
She really looks like she’s putting up a challenge. Love your art.

Fluttershy got her cutiemark after she freed a bear that scratched her from a trap. She saw a field of flowers blooming in the field on her way home and from that day on they reminded her that kindness is beautiful. And she had that bear to thank for it. That's why her cutiemark matches her scar.

If they were to ever regain their memories or reunite, my theory is that once they are young adults on their birthdays, they would start regaining all of their memories of their past lives. And when they do, each of them would go on a journey searching for each other.

these look awesome !! I love the spacey elements in twilight's design. I think it's really cool how you mostly muted the color of their bodies but kept the brighter colors in their hair, I think that makes it more interesting. I also love the more realistic anatomy, and the lil fuzzy bits to add texture.

I think my favorite here might be fluttershy, I just love how soft she looks, but I also really enjoyed how pinkie and twilight turned out

G3 mixed with end of G4 plus original vision is what I see mainly. This is a brilliant take on them!! Absolutely love Twi, apple jack and pinkie the best.. I love rainbows hair but was a bit too dark for her I think and her personality. I wanted her hair immediately though however, I got the haircut all ready lol! I wonder... what would you rename them if you did a complete remakeover? I like their names of course but it seems like they could take a life of their own it is so cool.
Edit: I had to think for a sec. A edgier character is what this group needs! They look great as a whole and looked at it that way.

Evening Umbra - a Beautiful unicorn, she was. Some say she even looked like a goddess, but she’s never really enjoyed these ‘compliments’, she’s always just wanted to explore the world and learn about anything and everything, but most importantly, she wanted to see space. She wanted to see every single constellation and every single planet and learn about it, that’s how she got her cutie-mark, of course. Once she got older she started to enjoy getting nice things from the foals that had spotted her every once and awhile, she’d come to enjoy the many foals inspiration to do what she’d loved as a foal. Umbra will always remember the one sentence most foals had said to her, _”you look like a princess! I want to be just like you when I grow up!!”_
Rainbowdash(forgot the name givin in desc) - she was the princess of the skies, she controlled the weather, the clouds, everything in the sky(other that the moon and sun of course, those are in space, obviously.), she was admired by many for her *loyalty* and her bravery as well, she’d have many battle scars, but to her, those were trophies for her victory(in fights, duh)
(This generation does not require a pony to earn wings or a horn to become an alicorn, so you can be a princess(or prince) without that old rule), (also this is just a theory)
- fluttershy(forgot the name given im desc) everypony in ponyvill loved her, she was extremely *kind* to everyone and was literally the sweetest pony you’de ever meet, though she was socially awkward as well…she loved animals though! Many foals would come visit her and learn from her about caretaking, and many ponies would help her with taking care of the animals she’d kept whenever she needed it(which was hardly ever, mostly only if she was sick or badly injured, she waa very clumsy sometimes.) she’d gotten hired at the school to teach the foals about animals and many other things related to them, she tried to turn down because she needed to take care of her pets, but soon accepted due to the realization that she had many friends she’d taught to help her, now she works at the ponyvill elementery school and is still very succesfull to this day.
