No original members left. Bitter sweet in a way, we'll never see the quintessential five again, but it's nice to see Patsy and the boys keep the legacy going.
Patsy Watchorn, one of the best Ballad voices I've ever heard, without a doubt. Wonderful. The Dubliners were privaledged to sing with him

Doesn't sound near as good without john and barney. John's fiddle playing is unmatchable and barny and John played so well togheter.

What happened to their other violin player?
John(probably one of the longest serving band members, as well as part of the Definitive Dubliners Lineup(i.e.: Luke Kelly, Ciaran Bourke, Ronnie Drew, Barney McKenna, and John Sheahan)) decided that it was best to simply retire the name "The Dubliners" after the last founding member (Barney) died. John also retied himself from the "Dubliners," but he still tours and plays with other musicians. These guys are The Dublin Legends, but they were all part of the Dubliners (aside from the Fiddler), at some point in time, and stayed with the band til the name was retired.

Gerry O'Connor (fiddler/banjo, other instruments)
was Barney's pupil. He filled in for Barney who
passed on before the last scheduled Dubliner's
tour was completed. Gerry has also performed
with many other artists, besides The Dubliners
and the The Dublin Legends.
