- Your Account Has Been Disabled, Please See Your System Administrator In Windows 11 FIX [Tutorial]
If you are not able to log into your user account and you see a message - Your account has been disabled, Please see your system administrator on Windows 11/8/7, follow this solution. You won’t be able to access your data unless you have the administrator account access.
One of the most terrifying problems that any Windows 11 user has ever faced is the “Account has been disabled” problem. The “Account has been disabled” error message (or the “Account has been disabled. Please see your System Administrator” message - to be more specific) basically says that a user account has, for some reason, been disabled.
The “Account has been disabled” problem can appear either after something goes wrong and you are locked out of your user account for some reason or your computer shuts down inappropriately while you are in the process of creating a user account after a fresh Windows 11 installation or upgrade. If this problem appears after your computer shuts down inappropriately while you are in the middle of creating a user account after a fresh Windows 11 installation or upgrade, you will be greeted with a user account named defaultuser0 when you boot the computer up, and any attempts to log in to this user account will be greeted by the “Account has been disabled” problem.
When you are on the login or welcome screen, the Administrator account is not an option by default in Microsoft Windows 11. You can enable this feature with the following steps.
Issues addressed in this tutorial:
your account has been disabled windows 11
your account has been disabled windows 11 administrator
windows 7 your account has been disabled please see your system administrator
This tutorial will apply for computers, laptops, desktops, and tablets running the Windows 11 operating system (Home, Professional, Enterprise, Education) from all supported hardware manufactures, like Dell, HP, Acer, Asus, Toshiba, Lenovo, Huawei and Samsung.

Hi MDTechVideos. Great video, I ran into an issue though.
SAM says "This file is in use" Enter anew name or close the file that's open in another program.
Advice?
Have you figured it out yet? I'm having the same problem.
@@theessentialguitaristhave you figured out because I also have that problem
In my pc when I open "Sam" He said " The processo cannot access The file because it being used by another process"
Im Getting the same error Please help
It can be Windows 10
sameeeeeee…… help 😂
I had the same error. Instead of local disk D go to your C drive. Windows folder, windows 32, etc. Etc. And alter that file string from there. If I went to the D drive it would tell me it was being used already. Hope this helps.

I'm having the same problem and I haven't found a solution in months
Same!
its really working, thank you very much for this guide. i hope no more people will struggle with this thingy again
Hi
First of all I would love to thank you for your wonderful video. I have followed all the steps but unfortunately I can't find the choice of local users and groups. There is a massage says this snapin may not be used with this edition of windows 10. Although I have a windows 11
Anyway I could not resolve this problem.
It will be very helpful if you can make another video to resolve this
Thanks again and have a good day 😊
Same here!!!
What have you done??
Please help
Sir after test keyword enter there is an error saying file is being used by another process
Did you find the Reading Why? Bc i Got the same problem
Thanks for taking time to do this. I got one step closer but locals and users isn't in the drop down. Before all this happened I was updating my windows 10 and I needed to clear up the drive. I guess I deleted something that shouldn't have been deleted. I noticed one time is said ms installer or something like that couldn't be located. Not sure where to go from here.
Hi! can you solve it? I am in the same situation, thanks!
Thanks it works but I need to repeat These steps every two reboots Do you have a more permanent solution?
Super helpful, I have watched hours of videos and this one was the one that got me access back into my main screen. All cause I was trying to clear my laptop and it would freeze at 65% update. Thank you so much 🙏
After double clicking on Sam it says this file is already in use. What should I do?
Hey, nice video thanks. So that got my one account back. However, I am seeing 2 accounts in the login but under other users in windows settings, there are nine. So what is this mysterious account?
I tried this a Dell Inspiron 15 laptop… and my system has just completely crapped out. It’s just stuck in a cycle of endless power on and off. Now I can’t even get it to boot up, can’t even stay on for THAT long. Never using an online guide again.
My pc also having same problem.can we try using reset password using USB device?please make video using my above query.
Hi your videos truly a big help, but i cant successfully fixed the issue , due to these message that appear after I try to create user name , CANNOT LOAD X :\Windows\System32\config\SAM:The process cannot access the file because it is being used by another process. What should i do….
did you find an answer?
@@thefabricator4925did you because I got the same problem
I also do not see the "Local Users and Groups" tab in the Computer Management app. Any suggestions please? I have been trying to fix my computer for 9 hours now because in the login page, it does not even allow me to click "Sign In". I have tried booting up my computer in safe mode and logging in that way, unplugging my desktop / taking out the battery, restoring my windows to a later restore point, reinstalling windows, resting my password through CMD, etc. I have tried everything and nothing has worked at all. This has been the only way I have even gotten close to signing into my PC and now everything that I had is completely gone. I know a way to get my files back by restoring my PC to a restore point but then I am not able to sign in again at all. I've literally never seen this happen to a PC and I am pretty good with computers and fixing them. I literally cannot click on the "sign in" button on the login page and when I click on it, it just loads for a half second and nothing else happens. It is extremely frustrating.
After following all steps it still says account locked!!
I have a problem with this, my local disk can't show any storage on it and cant open, how i supposed to continue or to do this?
I've messed up big time I think.
My PC is compatible, and I went though Microsoft for the update to 11.
All was going well. On first boot, my username and password were not accepted. I know they were correct, but simply world not be accepted. I kept trying like a fool and ended up disabling my account with advice to contact administrator. Following your video, it goes ok until hkey machine or whichever one it was, and they're is no windows folder. This no sys32 etc so I can't make any changes. All I have is Windows.old, which is empty.
I had a perfect working Windows 10.
All my files are backed up via Windows on an enemas drive, plus I've an Acronis USB boot dongle.
In safe mode,I can't access anything other than Edge. Trying to open anything gives me an error and asks me to choose a Windows program to open it.
My C drive is an NVME.
Are you able to offer any advice, or should I just burn it all work fire?
Thanks in advance,
Neil :-}
This completely reinstalled windows and deleted so many important files bro... what the actual fuck. Did this happen to anyone else???

Same issue @MDTechVideos
@@insidetheunicorndid you guys fixed it and how i really need help
@@oliver__5824 Try searching for SAM file in your C Drive instead of D drive. So C: > Windows > system 32 > ... > SAM > ... > until you reach the file string that you need to alter. If you don't see it in your C file, try E or whatever other drive windows might be installed on.
In my case it's not worked😭
