The thing I liked about this movie is that it didn’t shy away from being honestly even more messed up then the first one. Like Chris assaulted kick ass girl and then killed his freaking dad. Straight brutal.
So those saying that kingsman, kickass, and argyle movies share a universe. Technically they do share one because of mark millers comic books in his "Millerworld" universe. The first hint being of the comics connecting appearing in Kick Ass: The Dave Lizewski Years Book Four which references the celebrity disappearances that happened in the first kingsman movie which then reaches its climax in the comic Big Game where all the characters in "Millerworld" appear. When it comes to the films they are they're own thing. At least that what i like to think. The comics are really great so i recommend them if you want to get more into the characters.
Oddly enough that hit girl win just seems wrong. Her having quicksilver speed thanks to adrenaline was too much for the world they set up. Maybe it read better in the script.

Just gonna say it, if this series stuck to the realism angle, the second all those other "heroes" showed up. MF would be snapping his fingers and all his guys would whip out a bunch of guns, with him having a big smile saying. "We're bad guys, we cheat."
I mean, in the comic battle the villains did had guns and actual weapons like swords and bats with nails and the heroes were still able to win the battle, and after all, Chris had very few actual criminals on his side, the rest of his followers were just frustrated people taking out their anger and superhero fans just wanting a big comic battle
I think the point is that besides Chris and Mother Russia, most of the others weren't super villains who would kill people, they were just criminals who wanted to cause chaos
I have to admit, even though this film isn't anywhere near as good as the first one, it didn't deserve the hate it received from the film critics, and many movie-goers in general. Though they probably will never make another one, (since the sequel heavily underperformed financially at the box office), I still would be moderately curious, and fairly interested enough to invest the time it would take to watch it. Although Aaron Taylor-Johnson has gone on to play Quicksilver in Age of Ultron, and is now set to star in the upcoming film, Kraven The Hunter; if they were able to convince him to return as Kick Ass once more for a third installment, I would most likely be there, in the theater on opening night, to check it out for myself. 👍😊👍 On a sidenote....One thing I would absolutely love to see, is if they got Nicholas Cage to play Big Daddy again, but made a prequel film, or (even better), a miniseries that begins with him being a highly respected, honest police officer, who then gets framed, sent to prison, and emerges as a man who's then hell-bent on seeking revenge for the criminals responsible for shattering his life. Yeah...👍👍👍 A Big Daddy prequel miniseries would be so sick; wouldn't you guys agree?
I just focus on what the movie wants to tell or show me! I learned from that movie that no one is a superhero, but everyone can be a superhero. I think the point is to always choose the right side, feel other people's pain, and take the right action. and the outfit is just an OUTFIT, nothing more! Lives with mercy, I am inspired by the movie to stand against greed and selfishness!

This sequel was a big let down mainly because Matthew Vaughn and the team were different. They leant too much into cheap laughs, mindys high school drama and not enough of Jim Carey. The film didn’t perform as well as the first. Jim Carey refused to do any promotion as there was a real world shooting incident in America at the time ( Sandyhook i think?) A lot of Justice Forever’s lair was made from IKEA Furniture and filmed in the UK.

The intro to this scene is exactly why this film failed. The whole thing was too childish and slapstick, pretentious and hard to believe. Subconsciously brains absorb messaging and information your front consciousness isn't aware of. So her saying that cringe line and the doors somehow magically opening, as if they rehearsed this whole bit before arriving at the enemy lair. The brain takes that in and goes, ew. I saw it and went, ew. Most other people thought that too, and there's like 50 dated and wasted moments in the whole film. The first was decent and had some really great moments, I can't say that I care about any of the scenes or characters in this. This was a weird nostalgia hit from the algorithm and thank you? I now remember I don't need to watch this again.
