Autonomous "People's Graduation" at Auraria Campus in Denver

Unicorn Riot covered The People's Graduation on the Auraria Campus in Denver on the Tivoli Quad organized by the pro-Palestine student encampment located at the same location.

Metropolitan State University (MSU) alumni and teachers addressed the the People’s Graduation ceremony: “Shame on MSU Denver… we are all culpable…”
“As funding for education is slashed, universities have become more and more complicit in arms manufacturing - and dependent on big donors who feel entitled to dictate what we teach and learn.”
One speaker at the event just graduated from MSU and says they poured fake blood on the hands of MSU President Janine Davidson, Ph.D., when shaking her hands during the Friday ceremony.
The People’s Graduation at Auraria Campus (which houses CU Denver, MSU and Community College of Denver) ended after students camp up to shake hands of supportive alumni and staff congratulating them on successfully completing their studies.
