We went that site just before covid just to have a look, went into kirby longsdale and loved the village, thats where i got the amazing seamgrip from (fixed anything) devils Bridge have a amazing butty van there and hundreds of motorbikes , very nice area martin,

Hi Martin we went to Kirby Lonsdale a few years ago just for a day trip we throughly enjoyed it we walked along the river which lead to steep steps up to the village through a small grave yard. We had a meal in a pub called the Black Horse which was very nice. It seemed to be very quiet there as most places are still packed with people the streets seemed empty. Good video as always take care 👏👍
Yes it’s one of the quieter villages and has some good walks around it. The river by Devils Bridge is popular and is great in the summer. That for comments and watching, Martin

Good idea with the light canopy. Our Kampa is 25kg I think and the Isabella is 35kg. Still, I'm strong enough :-) Lovely villages ...

Hi Martin. One to add to my want to go to list. Like the idea off the canopy for warm climates and short breaks. Like anything that saves weight. Just wish I could put the theory over to Deb. Think I’ve lost this battle 🤔. Stay safe thanks for sharing

Great area to stay. We stopped at Orcaber Farm near Austwick in September on our way to Scotland, fully serviced with great views. The Yorkshire Dales is one of our favourite areas to stay. Like you, we are on our last trip out this year, but not too far from home on the South coast, bit would rather have been in Yorkshire.
We’ve looked at Orcaber farm in the past but preferred to be nearer the village to walk into. It’s a great area with lots to explore and some great caves. Somewhere we will visit again. Thanks for watching, Martin
We weren’t keen on the Hawes site... just too big for us. That site looked nice with town close by. Really like your new awning... great size and perfect too sit out. Thank you for the tour around. 👍🏼😃. Michelle and Andy
Hi Michelle & Andy, We had a ride up to Hawes and had a look at the CAMC site, Didn’t like the look of it and the town was too busy so we didn’t want to walk through it. We did get some cheese from the factory though! Thanks for comments and watching, Martin
Lovely little village that in Kirkby Lonsdale, Tony found a little shop that sells everything for the outdoors were he got his seam grip that he uses on the many punctures our awning gets 😂 Loving the sun canopy 👍

Great video! We are looking at a canopy for weekend trips. Would you say it's enough to keep things in the awning dry? We are like you, just want to take less stuff and keep the weight down. Thanks 😊
Hi, the Canopy is a great size. We just put the chairs near to the van at night and they were fine. It’s great for short breaks and easy to put up. would definitely recommend one. Thanks for watching, Martin

Looking like we won’t get away again now that we’ve been put in tier 3 .

We love the area and the ability to be able to walk into the village, it nice and relaxing.
Calder farm is another site I have heard off, the Ribble valley is fantastic. Must put it on my ever growing list.
Yes not much caravanning to be done for the rest of the year! Hopefully get away again before christmas.

@@TheCaravanNut Narp, not yet Martin, I don’t wish to keep boring everyone with it, it will happen at some point (but I will not be using Grantham again and possibly not Coachman!).
It's really difficult to find a reliable dealer that you can trust, think you must have got a coachman that was built on a Monday morning or Friday afternoon!
