Pedro Oliveira the show made ragnar a farmer. Ragnarr was a noble, son of King Sigurdr. There's a lot of inconsistencies with the TV show and actual history. For example - Rollo not only wasn't Ragnarr's brother in real life, but they weren't even in the same period of time. Also, Bjorn was the youngest of his sons, not the oldest as the show suggests.
I love how he's basically the only actor who openly admits to not being all that passionate about acting. It's just a job for him, and he's not obsessed with the attention he gets. I know he hasn't always been so chill and cool, but these days he's just an all around great guy. Who wouldn't want to be his friend? lol :)
