- In this video, I go an adventure with TheIronArmenian in the Churchill 1 and some planes. I decided it would be funny to use the normally useless 76mm cannon to meme on enemy tanks and planes.
And meme we did! The Churchill Mk1 is a lot of fun. It's an incredibly well armoured tank for 3.3 and houses a 37mm cannon as well as a 76mm cannon in the hull. The only problem is, the hull cannon and only shoot HE and Smoke... so I tried to score some frags with both! :)

If I remember (if no one has already said it) the tiger disabled by a Churchill was a solid round that jammed it's horizontal drive
Tiger 131's turret drive was disabled by a British 6-Pounder solid-shot.
The horizontal drive was jammed by a 6pdr (57mm)
I think the Tiger you mentioned is Tiger 131, a Churchill's 57mm shot struck the barrel, deflected down to the turret ring, jammed the traverse mechanisms, and wounded the crew. 131 was, of course, captured after the crew abandoned the tank, and the rest, as they say, is history.
It still has the scars to prove it.
As much as I love watching you play solo, the banter with TIA and the dynamics makes these collab videos the most enjoyable war thunder content on youtube right now.
i absolutely love the Churchill tanks in this game, i feel so invincible most of the time, normally followed by blowing up without seeing the enemy that shot me

9:40 Odd gets the loader over gunner glitch which only happens on tanks with two pairs of gunners and loaders. The game doesn't get the priority right when moving crew around, and will replace the loader of a gun but not the gunner, often causing you to die. It's really quite annoying, and Gaijin has claimed twice in patch notes to have fixed it, but it still happens just as often.
I've never had this happen and I'm lvl 73

21:47 "Why is this gun so inaccurate"? I've wondered that about the Brit 2pdr AT gun that's on all their low tier tanks. In a game where pretty much every other gun is a laser pointer, that thing is all over the road. IRL I haven't seen any evidence that it was any less accurate than anything else. #GaijinHatesTheBrits

the churchill I is one of my favorite tanks. its got such great armor at that br its like iron wall that can push caps full of panzer 4s unscathed.
First time hearing trumpet cannon and worst time to be drinking fruit punch cause this stuff stains what ever you spit all over your desk!
one thing you might have also noticed is that the traction seems to be better sense the update.
This brings back sweet, sweet memories of BF3 TDM tears just killing players with M320 Smokes.

Tell Spookston that the player you killed with smoke knows what shell you used
In real life, basically every country used solid shot, same with the US. Extensive testing found that using APHE was the exact same as using solid shot, because it doesn’t just magically create a sphere of shrapnel inside the tank, it just continues with the already apparent shower of shrapnel. APHE also had worse penetration IRL, so they stopped using it pretty much completely, although in warthunder solid shot is nowhere near APHE.
Suppose it could also be about brining in reinforcements, just takes around 9months for them to get there.

Im kind of bummed since i have grinded the plane april event when it was in and those turned back to human but it was the whole reason that i grinded that and the fact that they did not made it that who had those originally would get it but an untradeble version of it

Most of the maps have pretty much 0 cover on caps so teams usually either stay behind the caps or push past them.
@@hehehoho3770 or you just get bombed as soon as you touch the cap because 3 minutes into the match there's at least 2 planes up.
There's just no incentive to play the actual game, just rush die fly.

I only use the big gun of the Churchill to bully M10
that getting lucky with a random shot happend to me twice, once against a plane an the other time against a tank +/- 20000m away. like i always fire one blind shot with every new tankspawn, and yes you can get lucky, as long as you fire in the right direction.

yes, you can kill people with a smoke because of the small explosive in the shell used to fling the smoke off and away, but you'd have to treat the thing with 2 pounder APHE notes: shitty explosive radius, and the smoke may foul follow-up smoke or other shots
G spot needs to watch the Beaufighter in the hands of the Australian pilots during WWII against the Japanese for how devastating it was to both Ground & Naval targets besides Aircraft with its firepower if it's to be realistically replicated by the game.

How did you know at the beginning it was a full down-tier? My son did this too the other day and I was flabbergasted, though I never asked how he could figure it out.
For those wondering, I have been playing for roughly a year, and my son has been playing a bit longer, with a hell of a lot more games under his belt.
You can tell with the SP cost at the beginning of the match and the tanks your team mates are using

I never felt real pain in war thunder from playing only tanks for 1500 hours, until i played britain, and when i thought it was the worst, i played the challengers 1, my absolute favorite irl tank, my most hated wt tank, that things need to get lower br, stronger turret and l26 otherwise they are as useless as a heavy tank with a small caliber gun in top tier
I wish there was a way to cross tank chassis with turrets in War Thunder as a test drive. Just for lulz
