@@TheRealSephiroth I had that problem when the "use right stick to aim" bs started to arrive on consoles (with Uncharted). I hated it. I got used to it eventually. It's still 100x times easier to aim with a mouse. If you're using a controller, get one with high sensitivity (playstation) and/or use both stick to aim (meaning don't adjust your aiming just by... well, aiming, but position yourself with the left stick as well)

@@TheRealSephiroth I don't like people who call others "noob". It's very pathetic to try to make fun of someone because of their inexperience. Don't mistake stick sensitivity with aim sensitivity. High stick sensitivity means the "dead zone" of the stick is almost non existant, meaning the stick detects even the slightest pressing, so you get more accuracy. High aim sensitivity means the camera moves very fast with very little stick movement. You need to find a balanced value, higher here isn't necesarily better, if the cursor moves too fast you'll miss a lot, but if it moves too slowly you won't have time to reach your target.
I always shoot like 2 mags on Marvin, it feels funny how your character feel sorry for someone and not able to shoot them, but then dispose them totally XD

I played the Remake on Standard for 2 reasons: 1. If I played on the Easy Assist Mode my playthrough might be misleading. And 2. I won't be able to hey these special unlockables in the game if I played in Assist.

That question isn't easy to answer because from game to game characters change their personalities due to inconsistent writting. Characters like Wesker and Jill used to be on my top 10 list but then RE5 came and ruined those characters in such a bad way that they probably are on my worst 10 list now. Personally I don't consider any RE game that takes place after Code Veronica canon because they disrespect anything that was established in the previous games. Following that logic I still characters like Jill and Wesker still would be on my top list but at the end games like RE5 are canon even if I wish they weren't, so I will try to create a top 10 character list considering the fact that all main titles are canon but that also makes the list look pretty poor since so many good characters were ruined over the years and I won't put them on the list. Attention, the main reason for these character being on the list is because they stayed consistent to their characters and didn't follow a ridiculous story unlike Leon who arguably is the most inconsistent character of the whole series. So here we go: 10 - Brad Vickers. Since I got a pilot license myself I know it doesn't make sense that a guy who is known for panicking is allowed to fly helicopters. However, Brad is an easy understandable character, he is afraid and always under stress. There isn't much else to say about since he barely is present in RE1 and 3 but he had a personality, seemed human and died before the writers could butcher the character like they did it with many others. 9 - Jack Baker. A very positive thing that Capcom did with RE6, 7 and the RE2 remake is that they tried to focus a lot on characters. It didn't always work out but they get a point for trying. There is a lot you can say about Jack Baker since the game gives us a lot of material about him before and after his infection. He has a lot of personality, both good and evil version of him, and the good voice acting helps a lot and makes Jack an entertaining character. 8 - Mikhail Viktor. A character who only appears in one game (RE3) and he barely is alive when you encounter him. Mikhail is badly wounded and traumatized because of the loss of his men. He is a likable and kind person who sacrificed himself for someone he just met. he probably was infected anyway but I like the way he went out. 7 - Nicholai. Nicholai is opposite of Mikhail. Nicholai is a cold hearted person who goes over dead bodies just for an extra paycheck. Despite being cold hearted, Nicholai is a calm and thoughtfull person. A character who shows personality, follows a simple story and wasn't butchered in later games. Again, the main reason why I put most these characters on the list. 6 - Richard Aiken. Best voice acting from the original RE1. Jokes aside, while he barely was in RE1, he got more screen time in RE remake and Umbrella Chronicles. Umbrella Chronicles is the bottom of the barrel to me but Richard stayed consistent in that game. He comes a across as a nice and carrying guy, he isn't a big thing in the games but horrible writting for the big characters made Richard climbing up this list and while Claire's story doesn't go anywhere, I can't say the same about Richard since he died. 5 - Claire Redfield. A prominent character with a lot of appearences but yet they didn't manage to ruin her like they did it with most of the other main characters. Claire is one of the few characters we can follow through many stories and yet don't see her becoming butchered. Although, being mostly a consistent character, her story doesn't seem to go anywhere but that's the problem of the story writting and not character writting for Claire. 4 - Steve Burnside. First he comes across being very annoying and his "I'll do everything by myself" attitude in a zombie outbreak makes him very arrogant. But Steve is a character that grows a lot during the event of Code Veronica. He goes from being annoying to very likable, Capcom even gave him much to do from the death of his father to bounding a relationship with Claire to becoming infected himself. First I thought I would hate that character but at the end I liked him a lot. 3 - William Birkin. Birkin mostly shows up as a monster but the few bits we get of his human self make him interesting. RE2 shows him as a brillaint scientist and a paranoid man which is explained in Wesker's report of Code Veronica X since it turns out that Birkin was involved with Wesker's plan. That gave some mystery to the character. 2 - Marvin Branagh. Ever since RE Outbreak I liked Marvin but the RE2 remake inscreases his value a lot. He shows more personality than anyone else in the RE2 remake and became my favorite character of that game. 1 - Barry Burton. Barry was my favorite in both the original and the remake of RE1 but for different reasons. While in RE1 his voice acting made him entertaining in a "The room" level, in the remake he is the most developed character and comes across as very human which should be the goal of creating characters in a so called "Survival horror" game. It creates more tension if you actually care for the characters and don't want them to die. Barry in the Remake succeeded in that. And he created the Jill sandwich meme. That was my list. I know many people would pick characters like Chris, Leon, Wesker, Jill and such but I can't because of the inconsistencies and bad writting.

In Vendetta he was really careless, for no reason we threw a grenade at a dead dog while a car was passing by at that moment, looks like Leon killed some innocent civilains just because he threw a grenade at a dead dog. That guy is just a mess. 9 - Excella Gionne. To be honest I forgot about here. Last week I looked into my old RE5 parody and saw her in it, I went like "Oh right, she was in that game, I totally forgot." It's easy to forget her because she only stands next to Wesker the whole time and looks sexy, she doesn't do anything. Funny fact, I read and earlier concept of RE5 and noticed Excella was having a more important part in the plot, she actually was doing stuff in it. She is such a forgetable character but I put her on this list because Excella and Tricel were set up in RE Code Veronica X, at the end the wait wasn't worth it at all. 8 - Ricardo Irving. Another character I barely remember. I guess he was suppose to be a copy of Salazar who was a copy of Alfred. He sounded entertaining, that's all positive I have for him. His transformation was the worst one I had seen in RE until we got Simmons in RE6. Irving turned from a human into a whale within a few seconds. It was so cheesy just like the character himself. 7 - Luis Sera. Luis felt out of place. While being stuck in a village full of monster, he only made jokes and flirted with Ada. How am I suppose to take the game seriously when the characters don't take it seriously themselves? 6 - Jill Valentine. That one hurts the most because Jill used to be my favorite playable character but RE5 turned her into Wesker's sex toy. In RE5 she was so unreal with her looks, the blonde hair and her matrix fight moves, the character I knew from RE1 and 3 was gone just for fan service. Such a waste of a good character and so dissapointing. 5 - Ozwell E. Spencer. Talking about dissapointment, here comes a big one. RE0, RE remake and RE Code Veronica build up Spencer as the main villain of the whole series which makes sense since he is the head of Umbrella. I was reading all files I came across in the games and I saw what they were doing, Spencer was the final goal for the protagonists. Defeat Spencer and take down Umbrella, the games were leading up to that moment but Noboru Sugimura, man who wrote the stories for RE2, 0 and Code Veronica died in 2005 and the writers who took over didn't know what they were doing. Umbrella was gone out of nowhere and Spencer died in a flashback scene while talk having a stupid line about becoming a good. That was so dissapointing. I guess there was no place for Spencer in what they planned for RE5, I mean you can't put Spencer in a skintight battle suit and expect to fight like characters for Matrix. By the way, for everyone who disliked The Last Jedi, Spencer is the Snoke of Resident Evil, actually, RE5 is The Last Jedi of the Resident Evil games. 4 - Carla Radames. I had to google her to remember her name. I don't understand that character at all. So she wanted revenge because Simmons turned her in to an Ada sex toy, right? So why was she planning to destroy the entire planet? And why was able to turn herself into tooth paste? Is that anything that makes sense about her? 3 - Sergei Vladirmir. Oh look, it's the guy who ruined the Resident Evil lore. All I know about his personality is that he is very loyal to Umbrella but what ruins it is how he was used to ruin what I knew about the old games. I like it when a movie/game takes a fantasy element and tries to explain it as real as possible. RE gave us the T-virus and there were so many files trying to give us a logical explanation for the creation of the B.O.W.'s but then Umbrella Chronicles came in and gave us Sergei Vladimir together with the plot from those bad Resident Evil movies. Now all Tyrants are clones of Sergei. So how am I suppose to look at it, did they make a bunch of Sergei clones in the 70's and waiting 20 years for them to grow into adult size just so they can make Tyrants? A concept that wasn't even a thing in the 70's. Or did they make those Sergei clones in the 90's and they magically grew into adult size instantly? The realism totally went out of the window by trying to copy those bad movies. It ruined the lore from the old games. 2 - Osmund Saddler. Want to know what I find interesting? Ever since the past 6 years everyone on youtube think of themselves as a mega movie/game critic. There countless channels on youtube reviewing movies and videos and they like to point out plot holes. So why isn't anyone talking about all the plot holes and inconsistencies in RE4? There are a lot of them and Saddler is the main reason. First of all I hate the "Let's take over the world" storyline, it so cheesy and always creates lame villains. In Saddler's case it's even worse since that character does everything against his own plan. So, his plan was to infect Ashley and send her back to her father George W. Bush to infect or kill him. In that case why did Saddler prevent Leon from taking Ashley back? Even worse why did he infect Leon too and spoiled his whole plan the minute he was introduced in the game? Keep in mind nobody knew about Las Plagas, Leon had no idea what was going but Saddler ruined his plan and over and over during the whole game. There even is more to it than just Saddler's plan. Saddler and the Las Plagas didn't make sense to me at all. I can't get behind it why all the villagers were so stupid to slowly attack Leon with knifes and forks while Leon is carrying guns, specially since the villagers aren't mindless zombies, they and think and speak as you can see in the game. I had a debate with a friend who likes RE4 and he told me it's because Saddler controls the ganados since he is the plaga queen, so the didn't care if the ganados die while attacking Leon. That statement even gets proven in RE Damnation but I found a big problem with. Remember that scene when Ashley's eyes start to glow and Saddler takes her away? Right after that scene you can find a file from Saddler where he mentions he has to be careful from the ganados betrying him because he lost his strongest followers Salazar and Rasputin. So the ganados actually have a mind. I find it silly that every ganada went on a suicide mission for Saddler's plan which had more holes than a swiss cheese. 1 - Albert Wesker. It's an odd thing to have Wesker as my top worst character considering the fact that I used to find him very interesting but RE5 threw everything we knew about Wesker out of the window. Wesker wasn't much in RE1/remake but after Barry he was the most developed character in those games. It turns out he worked for Umbrella and was there to collect combat data from the B.O.W.'s but at the end he mentions he had his own plans and wanted the Tyrant for himself but then he died and his story seemed concluded. However, he shows up again in Code Veronica as some sort of superhuman and gave so many questions, some of them were revealed in Wesker's report. When RE5 came the totally ignored Wesker's report and changed the character entirely for the bad by copying the exact same story from Saddler even the same plotholes. Ok, let's start with the backstory: Wesker was human before RE1, it's mentioned in Wesker's report, he injected himself a new virus he and William Birkin were working and injected it himself before the Tyrant killed him. That's why Wesker was different in Code Veronica but RE5 says that Wesker always was an Umbrella experiment, WTF! Then RE5 made Wesker the main villain who wants to take over the world (I already mentioned I hate that concept) but I never saw Wesker as the main villain. As I said before Umbrella and Spencer were build up to be the main villain. From what he had from the story from RE1 to Code Veronica was the protagonists teaming up to bring down Umbrella, so basicly was a good vs evil scenario and Wesker was introduced to give us more than just good vs evil, to keep the plot more interesting. Yes, Wesker was such a dick in Code Veronica and even mentions he hates Chris but if he truely was the villain who hates Chris, he would have killed Claire right in front of Chris during that scene at the end of Code Veronica X but he didn't. My guess, Wesker didn't have much interest in Claire and Chris anyway and was following his own plan which was never explained because I highly doubt what happened in RE5 was supposed to be intended for Wesker. Then the events of RE5 happened Wesker was such a cartoon character and he did the same mistakes as Saddler. Let me explain: Everyone thought Wesker was a dead AGAIN, that gave Wesker enough time to complete his Urobananas project without anyone being aware of it but instead they infect an entire village with Las Plagas, send a photo of Jill, who believed to be dead too, to Chris and called the BSAA for deal which was a set up. Why doing all that if nobody knows about Wesker? It's just bad writting. That was my list, I know a lot of people disagree with it but I stand by it.

Despite being cold hearted, Nicholai is a calm and thoughtfull person. A character who shows personality, follows a simple story and wasn't butchered in later games. Again, the main reason why I put most these characters on the list.
6 - Richard Aiken. Best voice acting from the original RE1. Jokes aside, while he barely was in RE1, he got more screen time in RE remake and Umbrella Chronicles. Umbrella Chronicles is the bottom of the barrel to me but Richard stayed consistent in that game. He comes a across as a nice and carrying guy, he isn't a big thing in the games but horrible writting for the big characters made Richard climbing up this list and while Claire's story doesn't go anywhere, I can't say the same about Richard since he died.
5 - Claire Redfield. A prominent character with a lot of appearences but yet they didn't manage to ruin her like they did it with most of the other main characters. Claire is one of the few characters we can follow through many stories and yet don't see her becoming butchered. Although, being mostly a consistent character, her story doesn't seem to go anywhere but that's the problem of the story writting and not character writting for Claire.
4 - Steve Burnside. First he comes across being very annoying and his "I'll do everything by myself" attitude in a zombie outbreak makes him very arrogant. But Steve is a character that grows a lot during the event of Code Veronica. He goes from being annoying to very likable, Capcom even gave him much to do from the death of his father to bounding a relationship with Claire to becoming infected himself. First I thought I would hate that character but at the end I liked him a lot.
3 - William Birkin. Birkin mostly shows up as a monster but the few bits we get of his human self make him interesting. RE2 shows him as a brillaint scientist and a paranoid man which is explained in Wesker's report of Code Veronica X since it turns out that Birkin was involved with Wesker's plan. That gave some mystery to the character.
2 - Marvin Branagh. Ever since RE Outbreak I liked Marvin but the RE2 remake inscreases his value a lot. He shows more personality than anyone else in the RE2 remake and became my favorite character of that game.
1 - Barry Burton. Barry was my favorite in both the original and the remake of RE1 but for different reasons. While in RE1 his voice acting made him entertaining in a "The room" level, in the remake he is the most developed character and comes across as very human which should be the goal of creating characters in a so called "Survival horror" game. It creates more tension if you actually care for the characters and don't want them to die. Barry in the Remake succeeded in that. And he created the Jill sandwich meme.
That was my list. I know many people would pick characters like Chris, Leon, Wesker, Jill and such but I can't because of the inconsistencies and bad writting.

@@antonbrachmann4848 Creating this list isn't easy since there are a lot of bad characters but I will also include characters I really liked once but where ruined in later games. It's more dissapointing to see good characters being turn bad than just having a bad new random character entering the series. So here we go:
10 - Leon Scott Kennedy. Many people will disagree with this since Leon is a fan favorite and I like him too here and there but at the end I only see the most inconsistent character of the whole series. Leon changes his personality as often as his looks change. In RE2 he was a nice guy but also a bit of an idiot. In RE4 he was the comic book here with punchlines. In Degeneration he was an emotionless robot. In Damnation he had the punchlines again but man was he dick in that movie. He made jokes to people who were about to die, just imagine you are dying and the last thing you hear is Leon make fun about it. In Vendetta he was really careless, for no reason we threw a grenade at a dead dog while a car was passing by at that moment, looks like Leon killed some innocent civilains just because he threw a grenade at a dead dog. That guy is just a mess.
9 - Excella Gionne. To be honest I forgot about here. Last week I looked into my old RE5 parody and saw her in it, I went like "Oh right, she was in that game, I totally forgot." It's easy to forget her because she only stands next to Wesker the whole time and looks sexy, she doesn't do anything. Funny fact, I read and earlier concept of RE5 and noticed Excella was having a more important part in the plot, she actually was doing stuff in it. She is such a forgetable character but I put her on this list because Excella and Tricel were set up in RE Code Veronica X, at the end the wait wasn't worth it at all.
8 - Ricardo Irving. Another character I barely remember. I guess he was suppose to be a copy of Salazar who was a copy of Alfred. He sounded entertaining, that's all positive I have for him. His transformation was the worst one I had seen in RE until we got Simmons in RE6. Irving turned from a human into a whale within a few seconds. It was so cheesy just like the character himself.
7 - Luis Sera. Luis felt out of place. While being stuck in a village full of monster, he only made jokes and flirted with Ada. How am I suppose to take the game seriously when the characters don't take it seriously themselves?
6 - Jill Valentine. That one hurts the most because Jill used to be my favorite playable character but RE5 turned her into Wesker's sex toy. In RE5 she was so unreal with her looks, the blonde hair and her matrix fight moves, the character I knew from RE1 and 3 was gone just for fan service. Such a waste of a good character and so dissapointing.
5 - Ozwell E. Spencer. Talking about dissapointment, here comes a big one. RE0, RE remake and RE Code Veronica build up Spencer as the main villain of the whole series which makes sense since he is the head of Umbrella. I was reading all files I came across in the games and I saw what they were doing, Spencer was the final goal for the protagonists. Defeat Spencer and take down Umbrella, the games were leading up to that moment but Noboru Sugimura, man who wrote the stories for RE2, 0 and Code Veronica died in 2005 and the writers who took over didn't know what they were doing. Umbrella was gone out of nowhere and Spencer died in a flashback scene while talk having a stupid line about becoming a good. That was so dissapointing. I guess there was no place for Spencer in what they planned for RE5, I mean you can't put Spencer in a skintight battle suit and expect to fight like characters for Matrix. By the way, for everyone who disliked The Last Jedi, Spencer is the Snoke of Resident Evil, actually, RE5 is The Last Jedi of the Resident Evil games.
4 - Carla Radames. I had to google her to remember her name. I don't understand that character at all. So she wanted revenge because Simmons turned her in to an Ada sex toy, right? So why was she planning to destroy the entire planet? And why was able to turn herself into tooth paste? Is that anything that makes sense about her?
3 - Sergei Vladirmir. Oh look, it's the guy who ruined the Resident Evil lore. All I know about his personality is that he is very loyal to Umbrella but what ruins it is how he was used to ruin what I knew about the old games. I like it when a movie/game takes a fantasy element and tries to explain it as real as possible. RE gave us the T-virus and there were so many files trying to give us a logical explanation for the creation of the B.O.W.'s but then Umbrella Chronicles came in and gave us Sergei Vladimir together with the plot from those bad Resident Evil movies. Now all Tyrants are clones of Sergei. So how am I suppose to look at it, did they make a bunch of Sergei clones in the 70's and waiting 20 years for them to grow into adult size just so they can make Tyrants? A concept that wasn't even a thing in the 70's. Or did they make those Sergei clones in the 90's and they magically grew into adult size instantly? The realism totally went out of the window by trying to copy those bad movies. It ruined the lore from the old games.
2 - Osmund Saddler. Want to know what I find interesting? Ever since the past 6 years everyone on youtube think of themselves as a mega movie/game critic. There countless channels on youtube reviewing movies and videos and they like to point out plot holes. So why isn't anyone talking about all the plot holes and inconsistencies in RE4? There are a lot of them and Saddler is the main reason. First of all I hate the "Let's take over the world" storyline, it so cheesy and always creates lame villains. In Saddler's case it's even worse since that character does everything against his own plan. So, his plan was to infect Ashley and send her back to her father George W. Bush to infect or kill him. In that case why did Saddler prevent Leon from taking Ashley back? Even worse why did he infect Leon too and spoiled his whole plan the minute he was introduced in the game? Keep in mind nobody knew about Las Plagas, Leon had no idea what was going but Saddler ruined his plan and over and over during the whole game. There even is more to it than just Saddler's plan. Saddler and the Las Plagas didn't make sense to me at all. I can't get behind it why all the villagers were so stupid to slowly attack Leon with knifes and forks while Leon is carrying guns, specially since the villagers aren't mindless zombies, they and think and speak as you can see in the game. I had a debate with a friend who likes RE4 and he told me it's because Saddler controls the ganados since he is the plaga queen, so the didn't care if the ganados die while attacking Leon. That statement even gets proven in RE Damnation but I found a big problem with. Remember that scene when Ashley's eyes start to glow and Saddler takes her away? Right after that scene you can find a file from Saddler where he mentions he has to be careful from the ganados betrying him because he lost his strongest followers Salazar and Rasputin. So the ganados actually have a mind. I find it silly that every ganada went on a suicide mission for Saddler's plan which had more holes than a swiss cheese.
1 - Albert Wesker. It's an odd thing to have Wesker as my top worst character considering the fact that I used to find him very interesting but RE5 threw everything we knew about Wesker out of the window. Wesker wasn't much in RE1/remake but after Barry he was the most developed character in those games. It turns out he worked for Umbrella and was there to collect combat data from the B.O.W.'s but at the end he mentions he had his own plans and wanted the Tyrant for himself but then he died and his story seemed concluded. However, he shows up again in Code Veronica as some sort of superhuman and gave so many questions, some of them were revealed in Wesker's report. When RE5 came the totally ignored Wesker's report and changed the character entirely for the bad by copying the exact same story from Saddler even the same plotholes. Ok, let's start with the backstory: Wesker was human before RE1, it's mentioned in Wesker's report, he injected himself a new virus he and William Birkin were working and injected it himself before the Tyrant killed him. That's why Wesker was different in Code Veronica but RE5 says that Wesker always was an Umbrella experiment, WTF! Then RE5 made Wesker the main villain who wants to take over the world (I already mentioned I hate that concept) but I never saw Wesker as the main villain. As I said before Umbrella and Spencer were build up to be the main villain. From what he had from the story from RE1 to Code Veronica was the protagonists teaming up to bring down Umbrella, so basicly was a good vs evil scenario and Wesker was introduced to give us more than just good vs evil, to keep the plot more interesting. Yes, Wesker was such a dick in Code Veronica and even mentions he hates Chris but if he truely was the villain who hates Chris, he would have killed Claire right in front of Chris during that scene at the end of Code Veronica X but he didn't. My guess, Wesker didn't have much interest in Claire and Chris anyway and was following his own plan which was never explained because I highly doubt what happened in RE5 was supposed to be intended for Wesker. Then the events of RE5 happened Wesker was such a cartoon character and he did the same mistakes as Saddler. Let me explain: Everyone thought Wesker was a dead AGAIN, that gave Wesker enough time to complete his Urobananas project without anyone being aware of it but instead they infect an entire village with Las Plagas, send a photo of Jill, who believed to be dead too, to Chris and called the BSAA for deal which was a set up. Why doing all that if nobody knows about Wesker? It's just bad writting.
That was my list, I know a lot of people disagree with it but I stand by it.
