Definitely, in my humble opinion, the best looking Frog ever...it’s the proportions, the shape, the blacked-out case wording & the overall stealthy look. The display is killer & that illumination is just fantastic! Casio nailed it with this one, if they could make it now with the modern tech it would be perfect. You know, everything thing you mentioned here is what attracted me to this one in the first place. I even have spare resin for it. In my saved IG pics folder, I actually have a modded GWF1000 series that was built to look like the “Black Knight”. If you’re on FB, send me a DM and I’ll share it with you, it’s a great mod, you will love it.
It’s awesome and I see them come up for sale periodically. Look to spend around the $600-$700 mark for one in mint condition with box, tag and possibly spare resin.

Michael just bought a blue Orient Triton but your frogman vids are making me want to buy a Gshock lol 😂. Outstanding video on this awesome watch . I actually like the color scheme of the one your wearing at the beginning of the video as to the one your reviewing but I know it’s an ultimate Gshock to say the least. I have been checking out a Rangeman Gshock which is in my budget for now . Thanks Michael for sharing my friend 👍🏻

I’m sorry if I’m late for the party, but without mud resist would that make it worse than newer models? Or does it’s iso rating and construction supersede “mud resist” I’m asking because I will probably see for mud than water, just want to make sure this one won’t be susceptible to mud and sand
Seeing as all Frogman are ISO rated I would say that as a rating, it trumps any mud resist. If it’s water resistant, then there isn’t much chance of mud or sand getting in either as long as it hasn’t been opened, or if it’s been opened, it needs to have been resealed and tested and had the ISO rating renewed.
Congrats on capturing this fantastic piece. Unfortunately it doesn’t have the auto illumination feature. The module is quite basic but it’s the complete package that makes this one “perfect”

Fantastic review. Just picked my own up today. Question..does this model have the auto light feature where it illuminates by angling your wrist?
