Are you suggesting that Anette isn't loved in Finland, because she is Swedish? You know what's Finland's most sold metal album ever? That's Anette's Dark Passion Play. Sold 5 x platinum already about a decade ago, we don't have any more fresh numbers, but it made the record back then already. She is very popular in Finland, much more than in Sweden. Which is why she is in this Finnish show too.
Linda Steinfath Really? FLOOR IS versatile performer (you can not say otherwise). Music of Nightwish was too difficult to Anette. Tarja felt same sometimes (she has say that her self).BUT Anette is good singer . Just not for Nightwish. She had good moments.It was just not enough. I wish all the best to her!
Nemo: Thats silly. Tuomas wrote music, which fitted each singer perfectly :) So Anette is THE BEST to sing DPP and Imaginarium, while Tarja is best at the old stuff etc. Floor is like a mix between Annette and Tarja, she can do a bit of both, so she can singer all the tracks without falling through...BUT she will forever be best at the tracks, which were created for her on the new album, just like the other singers are best at the songs from their era :) Thats just how nightwish works with their singers. They have said it themselves several times - that they create music to fit the singer, not the other way around.
Nemo what songs have been hard for Tarja? Maybe only Stargazers and she still nailed it on her solo tours. While floor doesn't sing a single Tarja song in the original key and is still straining at many high notes, e.g. she is my sin
