Hey thanks a lot for this video. Watched it multiple times preparing for our next haat. Our guild didn't complete it yet and I was working on this team. Took your recommendation and got 30k+ prot on bb8 and ackbar. Almost lost asaj once in phase 3 but no other problems other than that. Was a ton of fun and did 30mill :)
Thanks for this great video. Been learning from this and running a couple of HAAT now. During my plays, I found out that there are 2 scenarios AA can regain some health. 1) It's a trap is not on CD and AA gets all kind of debuffs except ability block from the B2. This can help BB-8 as well. 2) TG can let AA regains health as well, but need to be worked out carefully. Ideally carry out this manoeuvre right after blast from cannon. AA needs to have it's trap on 0 or 1 CD, then uses TG. The idea is TG will expire at the end of AA next turn, so AA will have a chance to use it's a trap while having TG, and this will regenerate health. All other ally should not use special during this manoeuvre.
I tried this squad in our most recent HAAT attempt and it went fairly well, though not nearly as well as you demonstrated in this informative video. With my current mod situation, I was only able to down about 30% of p3 before enrage hit 0 and about 50% of p4. I didn't bother with p2. The squad did 8.2 million damage, 4.4 million Asajj did by herself. That's really good for our guild since we only recently cleared HAAT for the first time. My total contribution was 16 million. I need to work on mod farming big time, but there so many other demands for cantina energy... Still, thanks again for the effective strategy!
Sir Georgeous Games I’ve really started using this squad effectively. Asajj helps me solo p3 and much of p4. I found the team works much better after Ackbar dies. Thanks again for this great strategy
Thank you for sharing. I managed to finish aat today with 17m damage as we were already up to phase 3. I did a total of 30m damage over 3 phases. Hopefully be able to do heroic soon. Asajj zeta was the only thing i didnt have
Tried this team for the first time and put up over 20 mil. Icleared phase 3, and put up 50% damage on phase 4. It was long and tedious, but it works. I also have a weak ackbar who got killed pretty early, but the rest of the team still did good.

Oh she can definitely work at gear 11. I created the team and soloed phases 3 and 4 when she was gear 11. Her zeta makes up for whatever shortcomings she has in stats. I only gave her a few gear XII pieces so I could get her basic as high as possible in phase 4, just for fun!

This made my first priority, to gear up my toons, working so much in asajj, ackbar and BB-8 not so much yet... i've tryed in normal AAT and it was just great !! For a totaly F2P with a not that powerfull guild, any suggestions with P2 ? I use my resistance but they are not that high yet...
what characters help buff asajj? i made on mistake and she was taken out in phase 4. However i still nailed p3 and p4 completely thanks to your strategy.

K team kicks ass, even in phase 2, but I got a question, we aint doing heroic so Thrawns prot regen in tier 6 isnt a must, any suggestions what to put to do even more dmg?
I really like the composition of the team. Do you think there is a replacement if people don’t have BB8? I was thinking Leia for her “constant” buffs, but her attacks will increase the B2’s tm. Any ideas?
Sadly, there really is no other character that can fill the role as well. Leia would be blasted to smithereens with her low health pool and you need cls to assist, not her

I am hoping to copy your tactics here in this video the next days, but right now i have to make the decision who to zeta, only got one right now ... so cls or asajj? i know that i will probably not make it up to 30 mill dmg, but would be great if i could make at least ... maybe 10 million or something ... so what do you think ?
sorry for the delayed response! cls. asajj is a must, but cls is more a must. asajj still stacks damage without the zeta so is still usable. CLS is mainly there for the tm gain he gives the team, enabling them to take probably twice as many turns.
Excellent first video man! Had to drop a thumbs up. Only thing I would suggest is making your script flow more smoothly. There were some pauses between phrases and words that were a little awkward but it in no way took away from the video. Hope you have a successful future!

This was my first time narrating a video and it was difficult to line up my words with the gameplay/think through what I am saying as I say it. Ive been running this team for a few weeks now and just accomplished something else with it, this team will completely solo p1 of haat as well, as long as u don't put fracture on grievous, otherwise u will give him 100%tm giving u less time to finish the phase. so if there is anyway to solo p2 through "sick!" mods and a full g12 team u could potentially solo the entire haat with this team!
This video gave me a GREAT approach to an Ackbar whole set of possibilities. Combining Ackbar with Zolo (I don’t have CLS) and a bunch of skill spammers like BB-8 we could have infinite TM reduction? Maybe yes.
True. Good point. It’s difficult to time though and tough to sacrifice a round of specials. Full health Ackbar with no protection will still die, which is why I focused on that solution in my video

Excited to try this, however I don't have BB8 so I'll probably substitute for Raid Han for TM reduction with CLS until BB8 comes back around.
Nice! Could you replace Asajj with say Kylo? Keep using his moves to gain stacks of DoT then Akbars heal would bring up some HP. He doesn't hit near as hard as your Asajj is but it could increase survivability?
Yeah I tried it with Kylo. Can do 20% p2, 100% p3, and 70% p4. I ended up putting mk 12 multi-tool on akbar for 5% health steal. It helped! Don't know if I am going to invest in Asajj though. I'm pulling 20+ mil and the person is second is doing maybe 6? Don't want to take away all the fun =)
I've tried this team multiple times on phase 2. can't get past it. I use brotini for phase 1, escape CLS.. and this team works for phase 3&4 and sometimes I sub Hermit Yoda for Thrawn... but phase 2 I cannot get past. what are you doing that I'm not? Fracture only after BB boost, use I have BB use Ackbars buff for double secondary turn..
It still works perfectly. Managed to so this quite a few times like that. Has anyone tried replacing asajj with Wampa? Wouldn't that make it faster? Already seen your full solo with Wampa and Vader but I don't want to invest in those 2 zetas for now
Unfortunately, no, because Maul won't be building up offense. His health will increase from his unique and he will always hit for crits, but his damage will stay the same the whole encounter.
In phase 4, do you ever have to worry about not having buffs for when the gunship arrives after the topple? Also, in phase 3 you have no taunter to take the hit from the aat. How do you protect ackbar and bb8 from being annihilated?
Yes, you have to use specials to keep the secret intel buff on you toons when the air strike comes in Phase 4. Same thing for phase 3. As long as a toon has a buff, they won’t be annihilated.
For assajj i went for speed instead of Crit Damage.. My crit damage mods suck and she only has 98 speed which is probably way to slow? So instead i gave her random mods with the most secondary speed and got here to 154 speed (still low i know..) Is this a good switch? Or is her damage output much more important than her speed and the times she goes?
Damage output is much more important. Speed is almost irrelevant since it's all about manipulating the 50% boost from falling below full health. Speed wont matter on Asajj because Nihilus will have outrageous speed after a few hits.

vincent Gruau for Ackbar you want speed and protection. For Thrawn you want protection and either a lot of speed to quickly fracture, or no speed and use that permafracture technique

It is hard to replace thrawn with his usefulness in phase 3. another tm reducer may work, but R2 is probably best option. Keep everyone in stealth and rely on CLS to reduce B2 turn meter. Tricky though
Hmm...that’s a hard one. R2 would work in phase 3 for getting the cannon to not blast AA or BB8, but he would also get called to assist a lot which isn’t helpful. Best option would be Old Daka, and she could heal and revive when necessary. Heal is crucial. Stack lots of health on the fragile toons.
Technically hermit yoda can replace bb8, but he's an incredibly long farm that's he's probably even less accessible. However, Masters Training persists for the rest of the phase, which is a stronger version of secret Intel. In addition to providing 25% potency it also grants tenacity, defense and offense +25% AND also calls all allies with the unremovable masters training buff to assist! That's just insane. And to top it all off, hermit yoda aoe heals health and protection on his basic as well as a special that aoe heals health and protection again, so you never have to worry about ackbar dying. Hermit yoda was built to replace bb8 in this instance. Too bad he's a pain to farm.
after the entire team has masters training u would "NOT" want to use masters training again for the rest of p3 if u did u now have 3 out of 4 toons that will attack and give b2 bonus tm only making it easier for him to get a turn. plus cls will only assist out of turn when a non attack "special" is used, and hermit only has 2 specials that have a 3 and 4 turn cooldown. ive had bb8 take 3 turns in a row from his special which is really fast, so no hermit absolutely will not work instead of bb8
sorry, I take that back. after testing I realized that hermits basic does actually trigger an assist. I haven't been able to try him in haat as he is not 7* but it might work. I still wouldn't want to use his unique buff on anyone else aside from cls and ventress though
Why not just let ackbar die instead of using thrawns protection regen on him. If he's dead the extra attack will always go to cls and ackbar is otherwise useless anyway right?
The most damage comes near the end because it's all about ramping up Asajj damage through unit deaths. Pay attention to how many enemies die and her damage as the battle goes on

So for phase 3 and phase 4 to go without problem you need both of them but i manage to do p3 and p4 just with asajj zeta the only thing is in p3 sometime b2 battledroid will take a turn and you will get closer to enrage i killed him with 2 turns left.

i'm not sure if I missed this, but will the accumulated bonuses earned by AV be reset at the beginning of each stage? such a great combo!
Thanks! Each character with bonuses, including Asajj, get reset at the start of each phase.

In phase 4, do you ever have to worry about not having buffs for when the gunship arrives after the topple?
Also, in phase 3 you have no taunter to take the hit from the aat. How do you protect ackbar and bb8 from being annihilated?
Yes, you have to use specials to keep the secret intel buff on you toons when the air strike comes in Phase 4. Same thing for phase 3. As long as a toon has a buff, they won’t be annihilated.
For assajj i went for speed instead of Crit Damage.. My crit damage mods suck and she only has 98 speed which is probably way to slow? So instead i gave her random mods with the most secondary speed and got here to 154 speed (still low i know..) Is this a good switch? Or is her damage output much more important than her speed and the times she goes?
Damage output is much more important. Speed is almost irrelevant since it's all about manipulating the 50% boost from falling below full health. Speed wont matter on Asajj because Nihilus will have outrageous speed after a few hits.
Probably for the sith raid? Not ready for that yet :p

vincent Gruau for Ackbar you want speed and protection. For Thrawn you want protection and either a lot of speed to quickly fracture, or no speed and use that permafracture technique

No, sorry. You need the turn meter removal from CLS to last in Phase 3

Barry Quinn Thrawn's fracture slows down the bosses by 50% and he helps by regenerating protection. I can't imagine this team working without him.

What's a good replacement for Thrawn on this team?
It is hard to replace thrawn with his usefulness in phase 3. another tm reducer may work, but R2 is probably best option. Keep everyone in stealth and rely on CLS to reduce B2 turn meter. Tricky though

You have to go in at a percentage you can kill before enrage. Likely 30%. This run I was able to do 42%
My Thrawn isn’t 7*, any ideas on who to use as a possible sub? Maybe R2 or GK?
Hmm...that’s a hard one. R2 would work in phase 3 for getting the cannon to not blast AA or BB8, but he would also get called to assist a lot which isn’t helpful. Best option would be Old Daka, and she could heal and revive when necessary. Heal is crucial. Stack lots of health on the fragile toons.

Technically hermit yoda can replace bb8, but he's an incredibly long farm that's he's probably even less accessible. However, Masters Training persists for the rest of the phase, which is a stronger version of secret Intel. In addition to providing 25% potency it also grants tenacity, defense and offense +25% AND also calls all allies with the unremovable masters training buff to assist! That's just insane. And to top it all off, hermit yoda aoe heals health and protection on his basic as well as a special that aoe heals health and protection again, so you never have to worry about ackbar dying. Hermit yoda was built to replace bb8 in this instance. Too bad he's a pain to farm.
after the entire team has masters training u would "NOT" want to use masters training again for the rest of p3 if u did u now have 3 out of 4 toons that will attack and give b2 bonus tm only making it easier for him to get a turn. plus cls will only assist out of turn when a non attack "special" is used, and hermit only has 2 specials that have a 3 and 4 turn cooldown. ive had bb8 take 3 turns in a row from his special which is really fast, so no hermit absolutely will not work instead of bb8
sorry, I take that back. after testing I realized that hermits basic does actually trigger an assist. I haven't been able to try him in haat as he is not 7* but it might work. I still wouldn't want to use his unique buff on anyone else aside from cls and ventress though
Why not just let ackbar die instead of using thrawns protection regen on him. If he's dead the extra attack will always go to cls and ackbar is otherwise useless anyway right?
+Rhett Adams because illuminated destiny takes longer then. He also class CLS to assist a lot

What am I doing wrong?? With this squad, g12 on all except bb8 and ackbar, I can never seem to do enough damage
The most damage comes near the end because it's all about ramping up Asajj damage through unit deaths. Pay attention to how many enemies die and her damage as the battle goes on

For just phase 3 you could put in Han Solo. Maul would also work. Main benefit with asajj is the quickness you can solo.

You really do need both. CLS zeta will give you turn meter so you can have turns quicker than the battledroid to knock down its tm. And you need asaj's for the extra damage or probably won't be able to kill the tank in phase 4 fast enough.

So for phase 3 and phase 4 to go without problem you need both of them but i manage to do p3 and p4 just with asajj zeta the only thing is in p3 sometime b2 battledroid will take a turn and you will get closer to enrage i killed him with 2 turns left.
