I wish I knew about Dinara leather before I ordered a Scout from Chic Sparrow and realized I prefee softer covers. She is such a good maker.
I knew what the project would be before you even said it :)

Ana from Dinara leather is AMAZING! 😊 I'm not familiar with the Chic Sparrow leathers, so I can't really offer a comparison but I can say it a wonderful, substantial and sturdy leather, without feeling stiff or carboardy 😊 it's very nice! 😃 Hehe, I guess it was obvious I was gonna do something like that eventually, more to others than myself 🤭 it took a while to gather up the courage and allow myself the freedom to create it the way I wanted to create it 😊

Two years is a long time of journaling to give your son, and I know people who made rules against back journaling because it sucks 😅 You seem like a great mom!

Thanks so much 🤗 some are from Traveler's company, some from Baum-Kuchen, some were gifts or randomly found in shops in my town. Each one carries a memory 😊
