Nice drive!! One thing I will agree on is that sometimes motorways/highways are monotonous. This is why I will drive any and all back roads I can to keep from being bored and become hypnotized by the road. I find there's more to see on a back road, even if it takes longer to get to where you are going. I really loved looking at the buildings in Pau on our way out. I find villages and small towns have more character than some cities. lol Great drive, and enjoyed every minute. Thank you for taking us on all of your adventures!!

Totally! The byways are much more entertaining, though our hectic lifestyle often prevents us from having time to enjoy them.
