Question/possible video idea - My teen wants to read all the popular romance books such as Better Than the Movies, etc. What would be clean alternatives that a teen would enjoy?
I know it’s so hard for teens to find safe books too! I plan to read a few more YA books so that I can do a video on recommendations. I have not read Better Than The Movies, so I don’t know the content in that one.

Beneath the Surface sounds good! I just finished powerful last night 😭💔 I loved it too! I cannot wait for Reckless!! Powerless is definitely my favorite of the year, so I'm super excited for Reckless!

Oceana, what do you think about fantasy books that have creatures or paranormal in them? say like witches, vampires, werewolves, fairies, beasts, etc.? just curious what you think, also love your videos!! 💜✨
That is a tricky question to answer! For fantasy, it all depends on the type of magic there is. If it feels evil then I don’t want to read that. In general I don’t read witches, demons or angels. I’m ok with reading vampires, werewolves, and sometimes faeries as long as they aren’t overly sexualized.
I believe that fantasy is very subjective and there isn’t one standard for everyone. Like I know I said no witches, but I love Harry Potter. So it really depends!
