Viltrox's latest AIR series lens completes the range by offering, essentially a 50mm equivalent standard prime for APS-C cameras. It's a good size for my Nikon Z-fc and Z50 (also available on Fujifilm X mount and Sony E. I like it, especially for the price but what do you think?
Thank you Jimmy, for all your videos in 2024🎉🎉🎉. Thanks also to yourself and Rod for your weekly chat sessions 🎉🎉🎉. Have a great holiday season and a fabulous 2025. Cheers, Peter.
I'm tempted by this as my every day lens. I have both the Viltrox 27mm Pro and the 75mm Pro which I love and they arexmy go to lenses. However the weight of either for an all day carry gets a bit daft. Apart from the lack of weather sealing on this it would be perfect. It's either this or the older Viltrox 33mm f1.4 but again that is heavier. What are your thoughts?
Yeah, but it seems unlikely tbh. The only third party manufacturer making electronic lenses for MFT is Yongnuo and who knows how long that's gonna last, MFT is sadly neglected.
Not gonna lie, I’m torn between this and the new TTArtisan 35mm f1.8 ii. Smaller size, cheaper price, and full-metal body on the TT is calling my name. Is Viltrox worth it?

I just got their 85mm for Fuji and I love it.
Viltrox has got some nice prime lenses. This AIR series is interested, because of its size and price (with decent performance).
I wish they would make small lenses for MFT in the future in small money with such quality.

Hi Jimmy, from @8:15 there are images taken with 28mm lens. Is that right? I was confused because you did not talk about 28mm in this video.

Hi Jimmy, I think you wanted to stop doing review of things. Maybe I remember it wrong.
