    This man is a great nature writer. I love his books. Learned quite a bit about animals and nature from reading his books.

    how old is this video? the date on the video says January buy trees in Maine dont have leaves on them in January, and when did he buy the land?

    Why do you think the Sug. maples are dying? Vert. wilt? In my town most of the old Sugar maples are gone likely from 1. more heat than they can tolerate, which brings on 2. Verticillium wilt it would appear. I have been around here a long time to watch this. Also wondering how you found the "years" or age of the trees? Core sample? Thanks

      if a walnut tree is close by they can kill them too

    still can probably give the average club runner in their 20's or 30's as much of a run as they can handle
