It is funny though, you Broke the dang thing Down Except, had you Rocked the Upper, the wire routing issue could have been resolved for your less experienced audience. :) I definitely appreciate knowing these hiccups in advance and being able to address them day one. I just got mine 3 weeks ago. Make sure your pin in the hand guard is all the way in. I have no wobble in my hand grip at all. Just put a holographic, tracer Unit and flashlight and lazer. It looks the exact same as the “clean house” mission in Modern warfare campaign.
    I highly recommend. I use .32 and .30 as back up but .32 shoot straight as a lazer and has amazing accuracy even at far distances. If you use .32 you need to turn the hop up upwards more since the BB is heavier but it shoots so more accurate and doesn’t shoot real high and then comes back down, it actually shoots completely straight and accurately for really long distances with .32 🤘🏼🤘🏼

    QUESTION: Would either of these 2 TITAN batteries fit in top or bottom of rail or possibly both top and bottom of rail with butterfly type?
    Titan 3000mAh 11.1v Stick Tamiya Size: 19.5mm (0.77in) thick, 197mm (7.76in) long OR a Titan 3000mAh 11.1v Nunchuck Tamiya Size: 19.5mm (0.77in) thick, 132mm (5.2in) long

      Elijah Gergel i ended up using hot glue to essentially make the wires go closer to the gearbox and even put a small layer of hot glue over the wires to protect them. Its helped but not completely. There’s still an immense amount of pressure I have to apply to get pts mags seated. I’ve even taking the receivers apart trying to see where in gods name I can reroute them and it’s not looking promising. 🤷🏼‍♂️

    • @d-rzairsoft296
      @d-rzairsoft296  4 года назад +3

      I removed the barrel assembly from the gun entirely. Then I wrapped the barrel in a towel. Put the barrel wrapped in a towel in a steel vice and tightened it down secure. Then I took channel locks and gripped the orange tip and then hit the channel locks with a hammer. It was quite the process. There is no easy way of getting the orange tip off without scratching the orange paint off of the tip unfortunately. But the tip is removable with alot of effort. If nothing works I recommend using a heat gun on the orange tip first since it is steel and can be heated it will melt the glue holding it on. this might make it easier to remove.

    • @aJacksonHoleguy

      Krytac makes the Kriss Vector still, and, just like how Krytac is the airsoft wing of Kriss USA, SIG Proforce/SIG AIR is the airsoft wing of SIG, which means it definitely won't be discontinued to a licensing issue since they are provided by a division of the real steel manufacturer themselves

    Great review dude 👌🏻 I personally really like the mcx platform I’ve always thought it to look badass. And.... well..... modern warfare made me fall in love with it lol. However I need to get my hands on one to really see how it handles. Due to that wiring issue though I think I’m gonna wait for the GBBR version to come out like they told us at shot show last year that they’d work on. Not only cause I like GBBR more lately but also they should’ve front wired the gearbox itself and shortened the length of the wire instead of just taking a rear wired gearbox and cramming it in like they did. To me that’s a bit lazy. Or perhaps rushed like you said. Perhaps they’ll fix these issue eventually.

    How did you remove the orange flash hider?

    • @d-rzairsoft296
      @d-rzairsoft296  3 года назад +1

      With about 150lbs of muscle torque and sweat lol. It was extremely hard. Sig being a real gun manufacturer torque fits the steel airsoft flash hider onto the barrel with the same machinery they use to fit their flash muzzles on the MCX. The best way to remove it is remove the outer barrel entirely so you don't damage the gun or crack the receiver. Place a towel around the outter barrel then place the barrel in a metal vice and clamp it down super tight. Spray the flash hider with auto mechanics "liquid bolt" or bolt remover to give it some lube. Then get channel locks and grip it tight. Use big muscle power and turn the f*ck out of it. Remember that the threads are negative so you will be turning to the right to remove it. But its very very hard to get off. Its about 150lbs of torque. More then the bolts on my Mustangs calipers 😂. But trust me it can come off.

    • @d-rzairsoft296

      This is true. It could simply just be the way my rifle was shipped, assembled, packaged ect ect. I used to work QA at my old job so i understand how such things can happen in a production world. But I do know a handful of MCX buyers who have also had the same issues out of the box as well. So I can't say it is entirely just my gun with these issues. It could possibly be a QA problem as well. In the end these are just Airsoft toys so it's not the end of the world.
