Thoughts on the ASG Scorpion Evo

- In this video I borrow the ASG CZ Scorpion Evo from my local Airsoft store to give my first thoughts and opinions on the gun. Throughout this video I talk about all the features I don't like as well as all the feature I love, including some of the features that surprised me as I began to discover more about this gun.

Thanks for taking the time to review the Scorpion EVO, we are glad you enjoyed it and it lives up to the hype. We had the EVO in development for 3 years before releasing it, so a lot of time and love has been put into it. It was also the first AEG to be manufacutred outside of Asia. The 'Plastic Feel' is actually polymer and the same as the real steel. We also hand build every single EVO in our Danish Head Office 🙂 -JB

@@1teamasgI only fired about 10-15 shots, but it was really accurate, snappy trigger, and amazing weight!!
On mine when mag is empty it stops firing and when I insert new mag I can insta continue to fire. What could be wrong and that I dont need to press that bolt catch like others so I can continue to fire? That thing is what I wanted and what is cool rly 😊
@@marshalonegaming It sounds like there is an issue with the ECU not resetting the switch position. I would suggest taking it an airshop shop and asking them to take a look and reach out to us. -JB

What is the "Boost edition?" Is that a real thing?. Would you mind explaining more ?.
@@d-rzairsoft296 there are a few upgrade editions of the EVO 3, the normal one, boost, ultimate and i think there's one or two more. Normal one comes with their factory mosfet and ecu. Boost is a little more expensive but has built in leviathan mosfet, 30K motor, smaller gear ratio i think 16:1..... and the ultimate is well the ultimate with all the bells and whistles

Plastic-y feel? It’s glassfiber polymer.. Built Like a tank, i have the original old first version it did 250.000bbs without opening gearbox. (Then once pistonhead )
We actually used real steel handguards and stocks for the first few hundred models made, directly from CZ. You might have one of those. It's made to a near identical specification as the real thing these days 🙂 -JB
@@1teamasg wow did not expect an ASG reply. I don’t think I have the real steel handguards, if it were just couple hundreds. But it IS darn good. At the time real steel
Iron sights were available separately, not anymore it seems (at least in EU or The Netherlands)
I love everything about mine except mag capacity inner barrel and fire selector switch

@@1teamasg bigger midcaps! Only true downside, highcap ugly, but mandatory for woodland imo (PTS still dont have the 12rds, rather want original)
You forgot to attach the iron sights! They're in the bottom of the box under the folded cardboard the gun sits on.
The gun does not belong to me. It belongs to the store that let me borrow it. I can't open product fully that they plan to still sell.
@@d-rzairsoft296 Ah that makes sense, yeah, they were sealed in bags when I got it. Was a great review though, it pushed me over the edge to buy it, I'm super happy with it, fielding it for the first time on Saturday

Hello. I got used scorpion evo and when my mag is empty replica stops firing but when I insert new mag loaded with bbs I dont need to press that bolt I can just continue to shoot. I wonder what could be wrong and what I need to do to make it work? When inserting new mag and pressing that bolt release feels like fun. Thank you
Unfortunately, because you purchased your replica used, it is unclear for me to tell what could be wrong with your gun or why the mock bolt release function with the magazine doesn't work. Like someone could have put a whole different gearbox in the gun or messed with a setting I don't know about or the electronics. I would recommend taking it to an airsoft tech to have them diagnose any possible issues or features.

stock part is durable ı want to buy a gun but ı will keep it stock because ıts hard to find parts in turkey and ı am between tm scar h and asg cz scorpion 3a1 which one you would pick?
Asg Scorpion all the way - one of the best out of the box replicas. Right now, there are available factory upgraded versions like Boost and CNC editions. And thats the ultimate options for someone, who just want to purchase and play, not worryfying about further upgrades.

In terms of owning something that will give you a better advantage on the field, I would suggest the ASG scorpion over the TM Scar.
