AWSUM Mr. Potato You think Sir Turtle tried to pull a Phoebe on Sidney and got caught?? 😂😂😂😂 Possible, but I gotta give him a little more credit for having a little more diversity than that. 😊😊😆😆
I personally like the idea of people using Pokèmon that are the incorrect type of their gym or Elite Four, as long as they evolve to or evolved from that type. For example, my idea of a Flying Type gym uses Decidueye as an ace.
Mr NunNuns same. Why does it feel like it's newer than fire red and leaf green? Makes me feel older knowing it's an even older game. Also the battery has gone dry :/
The Inferno Dragon Mike-CR COC he could have had a Porygon holding an Upgrade traded to him. AKA, the Porygon does not share his trainer ID. He also could have had an Upgrade traded to him on another Pokèmon, and then traded that with a Porygon.
eya meherzi Agatha is a ghost type trainer and uses Golbat and Arbok, Bruno is a fight type trainer and uses Onix. Probably they had to make do with the few pokemon that existed at the time
Dunno whenever I listen to these themes I always feel like these elite trainers needs to be peg down a couple of level and then send out a lvl 100 pokemon and one shot everyone there lol ah the bliss and satisfaction I feel from it hehe
Random people : haha the 1st elite4 member of sinnoh use bug type ?! Haha ez Aaron : ? Hold my beer 2mins later : NO MORE DRAPION ! NO MORE DRAPION ;-; 😲😨
Callum Osborne There is no first elite 4 members, technically, from Gen 5 onwards (excluding remakes). Here, we count the member on the far or bottom left as the first one.
Lorelai's pretty challenging just because the gen 1 elite four is pretty overleveled for the time you fight them. She's easier in the remake because ice types overall are a lot weaker and generally mechanical changes have just results in the better pokemon getting better with each gen. Will's kinda tricky for the same reason but has a much weaker overall team. Weaker in the remake mostly just because there's more overpowered stuff to catch in the remake. (Like Scizor, who just completely destroys the whole elite four) Sydney has a pretty awful team in general (Mightyena?), and dark is really, really easy to counter. Significantly easier in the remake for a number of reasons, but mainly just because of mechanical changes and actual good bug moves... and megas, of course. Aaron is super easy too. Just an easy to counter and really weak team. He's harder in Platinum because they upgraded his team a lot, but even then. Fantima is probably the easiest BW E4 too. Her team is pretty passive and any sort of fast, aggressive play just sweeps her. Generally BW is well balanced in terms of levels, though, so it's a fair bit more challenging than some of the others just for that reason. Also BW doesn't hand out overpowered pokemon really. And the ones that there are, aren't THAT overpowered and take some time investment to get (like Hydreigon). X&Y is laughably easy. Drasna is about on par with the other E4 members, and her team's not that easy to counter, just from the good mix of types she has) but just everything in X&Y is so easy because of the exp. share. And even if you turn it off, she's not too difficult. Megas don't help much either. Sun and Moon's Elite 4 is a step up in difficulty from X&Y but that's saying very little. Hala has a really easy to counter team. They're not really leveled correctly and Z-moves make things pretty simple.
I don’t think Drasna was the first of the Elite 4 in X and Y.....if anything she was LAST actually......fire type was first, then water, then steel and THEN Drasna with dragon type. Right....???
Kanto's elite four was the hardest imo. It had a good variety of types, they were high level and the types were chosen well. I mean, Ice and Dragon were brutal. The champion wasn't easy either. Johto's elite four was decent. I mean, none of them was really that hard, but none of them was stupidly easy. Hoenn's elite four was pretty difficult. The Dark-type was really a complete push-over, but the rest can give some trouble. The Dragon one was terrifying. But they weren't really that high leveled. Sinnoh's elite four was mixed. Like, the Bug one was surprisingly difficult and the Psychic one gave me a bunch of trouble. But the Ground was...OK and the Fire one was stupid easy. Cynthia was the strongest champion by far. Unova's elite four wasn't really a challenge. Like, they only had 4 pokémon and most of them had at least one very easy Pokémon to K.O. The Psychic one had like no good pokémon at all. The Ghost one wasn't too bad. The Dark one was just OK, except that Liepard which was bad. And the Fighting one, the hardest imo, wasn't even a challenge. Kalos' elite four was the easiest by far. I mean it was bad. Fire? Water. Water? Electric. Steel? Fire. Dragon? Ice. Like, they all shared one weakness that could sweep the entire team. The champion wasn't even hard either. Like, the only treat was the Mega Gardevoir. And even then, a fast physical Ghost-type or Steel-type could destroy her. Alola's elite four was alright. They used 5 pokémon again, but most of them shared a weakness. Oh well, it was harder than Unova and Kalos I guess.

I love how Mightyena's cry goes along with the beginning of the E4 theme in Hoenn. It's the main joy I get from battling Sidney.
Sydney is so laid back, no smack talk before and "I... I can't believe I lost" stuff after, just accepts defeat graciously and tells the player to enjoy themselves.
He's like "nice you won and i lost but eh who cares it was fun now this loser tells you to go further"
20 years later and I still dont know what the fuck venusaurs backsprite in gen I is.
A cabbage
danielXdf Was thinking the exact same thing lol
A very angry lettuce
"I have trained all around the world."
So you mean the only two regions at the time? Kanto and Johto.
Everyone can agree, Pokemon Black and White had the best theme song for the Elite 4.
Nope, Gen 7.
Gen 5 was second best for me.
Renzi Kalaw gen.3 had the best gen.5 is second imo
TheCharizardPkMnTrainer2812 I agree with you on this.. gen 7 first then gen 5
In 1st I get the elite four music from gen 5 and
In 2nd the music of final battle vs your rival / champion in fire red and leave green
And in 3rd is the music from gen 6
I just love how OR/AS introduced something so revolutionary for their Elite Four members it took them almost twenty years to add: CHAIRS.
randmperson2 Grimsly's couch doesn't count?
Yes, now they can sit in an empty room instead of just standing.
I really hope they make a Diamond & Pearl or Black & White remake. In my opinion,it feels like those two are overshadowed by gen 1 too much.
Cesar O. S. Gen 4 is actually very popular. For me I'd say gen 5 and gen 6 are the most underrated pokemon's games.
Scali Cali #teamunova
Cesar O. S. black and white already has remakes. diamond and pearl would be awesome.
FullVault Inc Seems there are people who act like they're really into the games but are just trying to blend in, I pity them.
FullVault Inc oh okay. but still, i prefer Diamond&Pearl remakes
Mega Altaria with Return...that is making great use of its (well, his, since it's a male in the video) Pixilate ability! Nicely done. 😊😊😆😆
I hope we get to see second, third, and fourth elite four battles! Or maybe an evolution of all elite four battles!
Everyone here for the gameplay but I'm just for the theme battle sings
PS: Gen 3 had the best theme song

@Mr. Doge •-• oof ok that's also your opinion and I honestly think that gen 5 music slaps and is to a close second place. But dude, hoenn trumpets are magnificent
Man this bring back memories.
R/B/Y: consistently using my raichu's (pikachu in yellow) thunberbolt/thunder for all her pokemon except jynx. My flareon's fireblast took jynx down.
G/S/C: typhlosion's thunderpunch for 2 xatus& slowbro. Flamethrower for jynx&exeggutor.
R/S/E: sceptile's brick break for mightyena&absol. Aerial ace for shiftry&cacturne. Leafblade for sharpedo.
D/P: staraptor's aerial ace for all except drapion. Dont really remember how i took drapion down.
I stopped playing/being interested in pokemon when platinum dropped. I played the remakes to get a nostalgic feeling but didnt invest into them. HG/SS i played with feraligatr& OR/AS still sceptile.
I did try B/W & beat that ghost lady with that scrafty pokemon. I like that pokemon.

Kinu FoxySpirit Gen 5's e4 sucked.
Kryptyk
Nope
Drastic Measures Explain yourself then. Gen 4's e4 had a much harder challenge and well constructed teams.
Get out of every single one of my arena matches plz.
Gen 7 and Gen 3 best for me

I love that the elite four go from just really tough people to beat into becoming a god damn event in the later games

It's prior evolution, Skorupi, was Bug-Poison type. That's probably why.
I personally like the idea of people using Pokèmon that are the incorrect type of their gym or Elite Four, as long as they evolve to or evolved from that type. For example, my idea of a Flying Type gym uses Decidueye as an ace.

Starting from Unova, there isn't any first elite four members, unless you talk about the one in the far left.
History of second elite four battles in Pokémon games?? =D
The Dragon part in X and Y isnt the first one! It was the fire one!
Wolfger Lynel I guess he did the fire one first
I'm loving Venusaur mega evolving only to use leech seed and be forced to switch out
Lorelei used Super potion !!?? And the Full restore
Pedro Salgado Something tells me that Lorelei is not a true champion.
Everyone's ignoring the fact that the gen 1 venusaur crit *8 times in a row*
Levi Ackerman In Gen 1, any POKEMON with Speed over 64 has a 100% chance to crit with an enhanced critical hit move. Hence why Venusaur was able to.
prmatthew2 Guess I learned something today. I thought that was just dire hit + slash in gen 1.
In gen 1, crits ratio is based on how high speed stat is
Shows how broken gen 1 was.....

Callum Osborne There is no first elite 4 members, technically, from Gen 5 onwards (excluding remakes).
